Cousins isn't a guy who can carry a franchise on his back like Rodgers/Brady/Brees type guys....and that's been Minnesota's problem. They paid and more importantly, played him like one, with a pass/run ratio that was nonsense. He's a solid, 2nd-tiered player whom most teams wished their QB was like. If the Vikings start using Dalvin Cook more, I believe Cousins can be an extremely effective with the play action game. Minn. probably should be looking to bolster that offensive line.

Kirk Cousins - 0-1 in the playoffs, 0-7 on Monday Night Football and 4-24 against teams with a record over .500.
Matt Ryan - 4-6 in the playoffs, 4-8 on Monday Night Football and 35-38 against teams with a record over .500. Not to mention, as an NFC title and played in a Super Bowl.

Well, the Vikings may be forced to win their last two games just to sneak in to the playoffs now that the Eagles have a real quarterback.
If the Vikings fail to make the playoffs after paying cousins all that money I'm sure there will be some unhappy people in the Vikings front office
