If you pay out multiple spots then what you'd have to do is the most points wins the league, the 2nd most points finishes 2nd, and you'd have to use whoever has the 3rd most points and match their point total up against the other team that lost their semi-final matchup to see who finishes 3rd and 4th. It's not fair to the guy that lost the other semi-final to just automatically finish 4th when he didn't even get a chance to play against anybody this week. Good luck on what you decide. It sucks because it sounds like if you do anything other than let him play for the championship that you are going to lose a player for next year.

It’s not decimal, the league didn’t wanna do that.

In my main league, we get to name an OT player (before the games begin), where if there is a tie, you move on to their points for the tiebreaker. This is after the fact, now. League settings are set. If you want to send it to a vote, then do it. Fractional points help this situation tremendously. Ties are rare.

Btw I. Think bench points is so dumb. Your gonna lose a playoff game because u stashed someone? In that case ppl would have had to cut obj and Melvin Gordon to make sure there bench produced

League vote makes sense. Do the 10th of a point scoring system. Eliminates ties. But our tie breakers were always “Most points scored” and sometimes “head to head”. IMO if he beat you head to head and scored more points he should move on. Never heard of seeding being the tie breaker?

I agree but that’s not what’s in place. Higher seed as tiebreaker is listed on espns main site . To change rules now.

Sounds like he's a bitch if he can't take the L like a man. A tie that has a E$PN rule attached to it has nothing to do with you being the comish and you moving on. Everyone wants a trophy these days and learning how to deal with a loss is no longer a thing people know how to do.

Certainly does. I’m done with the league though I’m ending it after this year.

Smart. I stopped as well a few years ago due to people who should be grown ass adults fighting over stupid shit and cheating. Not worth it

Right now the vote is 5-0 in my favor. So he can’t really win it’s a 10 team league. Not
Counting mine and his votes so best he can do is 5-3

Well to updated I took the high road an allowed the league to vote, potentially costing me money. They voted to stick with the espn rules and for me to advance. Obviously pending a score change.

Then as usual when the playoffs start I remind all teams eliminated not to make waiver claims. You can’t testrict access in espn. So at 2 am wed night a guy makes a claim, he’s Eliminated. I message the group telling them I’m reversing the claim. Guy messages back that he’s playing for third place money. Meanwhile we eliminated third place this year. He pitches a fit and denies it, even when others are agreeing that’s the change. I send screen shots of text messages of him agreeing to the change. He flips out tells us that he only agreed because we were pissing him off, that he is gonna quit fantasy football and focus on fantasy hockey, and that the same ppl win in their league all the time.

Grow the f up.

I’ve run this league for years. I’m ending it after this year.
