Wrong.

First off, it's not a fumble out of bounds.

Out of bounds in the end zone. Do you actually believe that rule is fair? I haven't heard too many fans feel that way. It's way to penal for a simple fumble out of bounds which returns to the offense anywhere else on the field, here it's a potential game changing play and the defense never even recovered.

So if they fumble it before it crosses the plane and actually goes out the back of the endzone, who should get it and where?

7-1 record away from home.

Best scoring defense from weeks now.

This is a run first team who can win anywhere.

yep, a lot of people think of the saints as some wide-open offense but it's actually one of the more conservative ones .... lots of running and short passes .... they just do both pretty well typically .... not so much the last few weeks though

Not sure, bacjk to the offense at the spot of the fumble perhaps? Surely they can find a more fair way to rule that play. Giving the defense a touchback when they did nothing but watch a guy lose control as he reaches for the goal line is a bit unfair.

Cam can't/shouldn't blame anyone but himself, he missed receivers all game long.
That's not in his make-up.
Did anyone see his post game presser? I didn't, just curious.

Well he has shoulder surgery during the offseason last year and he was on the injury report during Week 8 for the same shoulder. 2 weeks later starts the 6 game losing streak. Lots of talk here in Charlotte about him sitting the rest of the year as the Panthers have a .7% shot at the playoffs and, if they lose out, they can have anywhere between the 5th to the 8th pick in the draft.
The Sham for Cam campaign begins. Similar to the Suck for Luck campaign. Except there's no QB on Luck's level coming out. Panthers will continue to struggle regardless of the # pick they get, as long as Cam is their QB.

Best part of last night was not having to see that fucking annoying Superman shit that Newton does when he scores.
No but we did see his stupid first down point, that almost cost his team as time was running out. He's a self centered douche.

I saw some of it. The reporters kept pressing him on the shoulder issue and he just said he has tried all types of treatments, anti-inflammatory's, even acupuncture and it just doesn't feel like he has any strength. He also alluded that it wasn't his decision when they asked about continuing.
As much as I totally agree with you @NWPATSFAN about this guy's idiotic antics on the field and the fact that he isn't much more than a just okay QB, he really came across as a kid totally defeated mentally. I actually feel a little sorry for the kid.

It's always been the rule, hasn't it? It's only unfair if they don't know the rule. Protect the football better.

What they NEED to do, is STOP fucking with all the goddamned rules every year.

Thanks but I can't give him an ounce of sympathy. His athletisism is off the chart. Too bad his ego hasn't even made the bottom of the chart.
His defeated attitude is part of what keeps him from being a true leader and winner.
