Another drop........Gordon. This is worse than pop Warner. I just shut the game off. I can't watch this implosion. My wife's pissed at me. She says I'm a fair weather fan.. She thinks they'll come back and win.

Another blown tackle by J. McCourty. My wife screamed at me to go out to the living room to see another horrible tackle.

This is coaching. I've said this many times. It starts in the OTAs, refined in mini-camp and practiced, practiced, practiced in training camp. Lack of speed and tackling is beginning to manifest itself as ugly football week after week.

Patriots turn into an undisciplined trainwreck on the road, again. Penalties, lack of focus, drops, crappy defense you name it.

No team can win when you have to play 11 against 17. Pittsburgh got away with tons of shit all day. Only the most obvious and outright stuff got called against them. The patriotsset an NFL record for penalties called against them today. Every single time they started to get momentum, they were called for an illegal shift, illegal motion, illegal set. Then the holding calls, all at critical times on 3rd and 5, 3rd and 3, 2md and 2, 2nd and 5. The one that pissed me off the most was the illegal hands to face, which was nothing more than a hand by Andrews, slipping off the chest and over the facemask but never stopping or hooking the mask. Pittsburgh gets a gift 17-10 and they'll get their heads handed to them bext week in New Orleans.
I'm willing to bet that the Bengals punch them right out of the playoffs in two weeks.

Not surprised... they just plain suck outside Foxboro. Losing in December ... yuck.

I really hate to say this but, we've become spoiled by a team that has always improved from September through December. We are witnessing a team that was not prepared well during the off season and could not really get itself together during the preseason. They got their asses handed to them early in the season and they were unwilling to make the scrafices and put in the work to improve themselves. Seriously, at this level and the money they get paid, it shouldn't be that hard to push yourself just a bit moire to improve the areas that need improvement. They've relied on Tom Brady to dig their asses out of a ditch for so long that they expect it every week.

Sort of reminds me of Baseball teams when their ace is pitching. They have a tendency to let up a bit because they anticipate that he'll pitch two hit baseball every time he takes the mound.

The defense is so soft it could be used for a toilet paper commercial. And, the team no longer takes advantage of great ST plays, turnovers, good field position, etc. If we weren’t so spoiled as fans, I would say dumspter fire. Not there yet, still think they could pull some exciting playoff games out of their butts. Sporadic good plays in last few games, but no cohesion at all.

The D is terrible. Mainly the vets like Hightower, McCourty x2. The positive thing is there are a handful of young guys making plays. So the future could be bright.

Way too many undisciplined penalties. What the hell is going on?

Offense out of sink. What's up with White and Dorsett?

I'm hoping BB has some offensive and defensive tricks left in the old bag come playoff time or NE is one and done I'm afraid.

I called the medial team at Mass General they will be sending over a medical team to help locate this teams heart. Thank God there is only three games left.

1. This D Line especially the DT oyyy we need to fix that.
2. Jason McCoury cute experiment he could not cover a Misses Beasley doll with a comforter.
3. We need a TE Gronk is just a L or R Tackle anymore
4. Seem like the gave up on the run to early once they started running
5. Drops
6. I Betcha we draft a QB

That Gordon drop really looked suspect. Does the NFL fix games WWE style? The Edelman drop seemed a bit suspect too. Phantom PI on JC?, No PI for Edelman on a play that wasn't bang, bang as Romo stated. Add in the Brady "throw away".

Trust me, no sour grapes here, it just smells fishy.

Nothing fishy except the funk of 14 penalties for 106 yards. Poorly disciplined play, mental errors have plagued this team on the road - to top that off, winning the turnover battle and scoring only 10 points :L

Only thing I have contention with is the PI call on JC

Very last playoff the game Patterson looked pretty wide open in the back of the end zone yet Brady tried to force it to a completely covered Edelman. Perhaps I missed something but Patterson looked pretty wide open on that play.

I meant to ask this earlier.... Is Jim Nance pro-Steeler or anti-Patriot? His calls on Steeler plays seemed the most exciting plays he ever witnessed and for the Patriots like he was a neutral observer. The downed punt was the exception, but that was truly out of the ordinary.

Should BB be on the "hot seat" more for this and the play the last few weeks? Not the hot seat as of being fired but should be getting a lot more "heat" then he currently is getting

In that same series, James White did not have a defender within 15 yards of him and Brady overthrew a near impossible pass to Gronk in the back of the end zone. I hate to say it, but maybe Brady has to start bearing some of the burden. He's thrown a lot of bad passes that were very short, a lot of passes behind receivers and some very questionaleone like the INT at the five yesterday. Sometimes I wonder if he makes a decidion before he takes the snap from center. He used to be able to look at a WR and totally switch gears and go somewhere else. He's also throwing a lot of passes early when he senses any pressure. Just is not the play of the TB that we're used to seeing.

Maybe the overall poor play is causing us all to be a bit more critical, but even a few of the wins this year were "ugly".

I think that BB has had an ego problem that we've all been willing to overlook because the team was always a Super Bowl contender and would play for him. I also think that we've seen that ego deny the team a chance to win the Super Bowl against the Eagles, that ego may have been the reason that Brady and Gronk didn't attend anything in the off season that was not required. I think it's becoming a real issue and if Rboertor Johnathan Kraft doesn't step in, the team will suffer as long as he's HC.

If he's not willing to put his personal mini vendettas aside, then maybe it is time to move on. It's been an excellent 20 years and few teams or their fans will ever experience anything like it again. But eventually all things must end. The Krafts might want to take a page from Belichick's book and move on a year early rather than a year late..........Both TH and BB?
