I'm just not sure there is anyone out there better than Jay that would take this job under Dan and Bruce.

I’m i the minority but with this roster and what they’ve been dealt this season I just don’t see why 7-7 at this point is too bad. Gruden can stay IMO. New assistants yes new GM yes

I was willing to offer Manusky the benefit of doubt as DC, however, once it became absolutely clear that linebacker was the weakest collective unit, I knew that he had to go. For the youngsters or those who don't remember, Greg Manusky actually played linebacker in the NFL. He was drafted by our team and was pretty darn good on ST's here and got into some games as a starter or spot player in Minnesota and Kansas City.

Todd Bowles
Ron Rivera
Gregg Williams
Rex Ryan
Kris Richard

That's off the top of my head.
We can do better than Manusky.

Ryan Kerrigan and Trent Williams named to Pro Bowl. :noidea::D

Craig Hoffman was with you today Sty. He said Kerrigan had his best game but he can't turn the corner like he used to. Y'all should hook up. :thumb:

In as much as hooking up with Hoffman, what's the point when you say that we already agree? Perhaps because you insist that we're both...

I'm still waiting on somebody to actually show me what grudens record should have been each year.

What year have we had a great roster?

And what exactly is the plan with a new coach? We're gonna need a total tear down with a new coach. By the time we can pull that off you'll be calling for the next coach's head too.

Gruden’s record should have been what it was. He is a career .500 coach. After 5 years, that’s a good sample size. Are we satisfied with an average HC?
Has he ad some bad luck? Maybe with injuries. What concerns me is not his play calling or his schemes, but his complete inability to get his team ready for big games. They continually fall flat when they need to step up most. At some point that has to go back to the HC.

The question is.

Can we take the next step with him ? We are a team that’s is competitive ( mostly ) but has hovered around 500 with “his “ players .

We were doormats .

Do you think he can make us perennial playoff contenders ?

How much does 2 years of constant horrific injuries count into the equation ?

Do you think we have enough good players and difference makers on the team ?

Do you have a plan to get them ?

He has had 5 years , how does that factor in

Are you as an organization have any plan to reach the next level ?

How does the cap situation figure on this ?

Are you willing to give the next HC the time to get his staff , and players ?

Are you willing to go another 5 years with new said HC ?

Is the fan base ready for another round of this ?
