Jackson's injury kind of dampers things. Hopefully it's a two week kinda thing. Noncontact leg injuries usually aren't though.

Rodgers played poorly. I guess that big guaranteed contract killed his competitive drive.

Most of those football doctor types are just saying it is a high ankle sprain. If true, he'd probably be ready to play next week if they need him (which they hopefully wont).

Would much rather a loss there than lose Jackson, particularly how it went down. I think he'll be ok, and I think the Bears could be locked in soon, and these last games not be super-important, so he could potentially sit the next three weeks and it not be a huge deal.

For the first time in a long time, I never doubted that the Bears would win. Even when they tied it up at 14, I felt fairly confident that they would overcome, as that TD was the result of a shitty 3rd and short call to Mizzel, followed by an attempted make-up call to go for it on 4th down, with another lame call. They should've punted after that lame-ass 3rd down call. Put the D in a tough spot for no real reason.

On top of all of it,Trubisky played a nice clean game...…...Ran when needed to and didn't take any unnecessary hits along with no turnovers...…..

He played within the boundaries, but still made some big plays. That 3rd and long scramble/conversion to Shaheen down the sideline was a thing of beauty, and a big play. It took it from punting with 7 minutes left from our side of the field to punting with 4 minutes left from their side of the field. Ultimately, it didn't lead to a putaway score, but it chewed some time and flipped the field with a two-score lead.

Gotta be honest, I was starting to think, "oh what the fuck", but maybe because I was too busy being pissed off, I never seriously thought the Bears were going to lose. It was more like we now have to work that much harder to secure the W.
