Have 2 players ever had a triple double for the same team during the same game?

Might be history here, folks.

6 times, I believe (7 now). The last time the Lakers did it was Magic and Kareem in 1982. The last time it was done at all was Jason Kidd and Vinsanity in 2007, I believe.

3-29-87: Larry the Legend & Parrish had trip-dubs versus the 76ers.

3-12-69: Lenny Wilkens & Art Hariis (SuperSoncis) versus the Rockets (then in San Diego)

3-14-64: Ray Scott & Donnie Butcher (Knicks) versus the Pistons

Yep and that's concerning considering where he was selected. He will come back and play like crap for the next 4 or 5 games....or maybe he is playing like this because he heard Rondo will be back soon

I think it's a combination of the time he's missed over last season and this one due to injury and trying to find his role with Lebron on the team, especially when they are on the floor together.

Lonzo has said, including last night after the game, that Lebron was his favorite player since he was a kid. Now, he finds himself playing alongside him. He's naturally going to be a bit in awe and deferential to him.

As has been pointed out, Lebron does all of the same things that Lonzo does, only better. Which makes it even tougher.

Nights like last night show that it can be done. The question is, can it be done consistently.

Working in his favor, Lebron seems to understand this and has been encouraging Lonzo to be more aggressive. Lebron also seems to really like him too. When Lonzo got his triple double, Lebron was the first off the bench to congratulate him.

Working against him is time. Lebron and the Lakers (particularly Magic) are going to expect him to get it figured out fairly quickly because Lebron wants more titles, the Lakers want more titles and Lebron's a lot closer to the end of his career than the beginning.

browns win 4 out of 5....wtf is going on?

Baker = pure magic.

I was telling everyone- before too long he will be up on that mural.

I will FUCKING GUARANTEE YOU- if you asked Cleveland sports fans- at LEAST 90% would prefer Baker over LeBron if they could pick one of the two. It would not even be close.

Well,

Then I guess Cleveland sports fans are stupid.

The ONLY reason anybody would even consider that position is because LeBrkn left you. Twice.

I watched that game last night. The Browns won in spite of Mayfield. He played pretty poorly actually.

He is defintely the best QB of the rookie class so far. But he has done absolutely nothing to make me think he is going to be a "special QB". He looks like a franchise QB for sure. But I can also list off about 15-20 "franchise QBs" who have never won jack.

Could he be great? Sure. But he has a long way to go.

Simmons with 22-11-14 and 0 turnovers. I guess he was happy to see Jimmy back on the court.
