It May be some kind of bug. But it is def gone. That was my fave gun. That’s what I use to get all my legendary animals.

And I haven’t unlocked it yet, so I can’t even buy a replacement yet. Grrrrrr.

It happened to me once but I'm not sure what happened. I lost my Schofield shortly after doing the Valentine Doc robbery where you pick it up. I'm not sure if it bugged or if I unknowingly dropped it for another weapon but I noticed it was gone and had to go repurchase another one. Luckily, its not very expensive.

Finally, was able to craft the land of the east satchel at camp, lets you carry a lot more. Almost have all the camp upgrades.

BTW, the legendary Panther won't show up until you complete level 9 of Master Hunter challenge. Killed him today, never stood a chance dead eyed him with 5 or 6 shots to the facial region.

I have been so busy with red dead that the swap hasn't killed me. Been playing 8-10 hrs a day.

I have to check on my horse every morning after that initial bake.

Just need one perfect oxen pelt, one perfect cougar pelt and moose antlers and I will have the camp completely upgraded. Mooses are hard to find

Just caught my first legendary fish, the Steelhead trout, 29lbs and 8 oz. I needed to use the Special river lure, that you can buy from the bait shop in Largas. My fish is the northeast corner of the map in front of waterfalls

Is there a specific place you buy the lures? I can't find any of the special lures required to catch the fish

Been looking to do some crafting but now I've got a question. Is it possible to get a perfect cow or ox pelt without losing honor? The only place I ever find them is at farms and every time you kill a farm animal, you take an honor hit.

I saw an ox once up near the Deer Cabin, but it was only 2 stars, so I didn’t take its precious life so I could have a rug.

I have not gotten an ox or cow hide yet. So I don’t know if there is a better way..

I wasted an inordinate amount of time canoeing around trying to uncover as much map as possible and get into the inaccessible areas at maps edge. Has anyone figures out how to get onto a steamer in the middle of the water from the canoe. Tried to commandeer several to no avail.

Well that fucking blows. They should do an update to change it so you don't lose honor. I'm trying to max out my honor but every time I get close, I get a dumb penalty such as killing a cow (which they are requiring me to do!) or my horse accidently bumps into a dude in St. Dennis because that asshole kept crossing the street and there was nowhere to go.

Yep. You can pretty much do anything. Except fuck the prostitutes. For some odd reason, they have them in the game and they ask you if you want a good time, yet you can never oblige. Considering its the Wild West, I find that such a weird decision to make game programming wise. I guess they didn't want everyone doing the GTA thing of killing the whores afterwards to get their money back

Yea I've played it a bit but it's as others say a slow burn. Fun but sometimes I'm finding myself less driven by the story as randomly chasing down a deer lol
