Ravens and Seahawks are both games the Chiefs should win based on talent but both teams are also bad matchups based on how they play. Seahawks are on the road and against a legit QB so that should be the harder game.

Now or never for the Chargers on beating the Chiefs. The #1 vs #31 Special Teams gap between the 2 teams if the big advantage for KC. The Chargers actually have a better DVOA than the Chiefs if you remove Special Teams from the equation. Easily the most important game of the four.

Raiders should be a gimme. End of the season game before the playoffs that makes the fanbase think 'this year is different' before having all of the hopes and dreams ruined.

The most likely result is finishing 2-2. 3-1 probably means that the Chiefs have something special going on this year.

Ravens are the first team that I really feel 'took it to' the Chiefs and somehow KC managed to win. I'd say this is probably the 2nd game of the season the Chiefs should feel 'lucky' to win but thankfully it has no bearing on the remaining three games.

The Chargers game is shaping up to be the game of the season.

Luckily, if the Chiefs lose that game, they will still have a better division record than the Chargers thanks to Denver, and apparently HFA as well after today. Life got a lot less difficult after today.

This week was huge for the Chiefs. I thought the Texans were going to win out and the Pats still have one more home game they could stumble.

Chargers have a lay up today but then Ravens, Chiefs and Broncos. I think they'd pretty much have to win out or the Chiefs would have to collapse to win the division.

No doubt. I am really done with these Winter games (well, not there yet, but there's snow in the forecast, apparently) being a waiting game for x dumb loss that makes no sense. I harp a ton on winning by multiple scores if nothing else, to avoid fate.

Chargers are 5-1 in one score games now. Definitely working back towards the mean with how unclutch they've been in previous seasons.

Chiefs are still in a good spot but they need to get healthy and try and control their own destiny.

Kendall Fuller broke his wrist, holy fuck that's bad.

I got to bed thinking shit loss, but at least no injuries, and one of the few players I'd care about losing gets hurt. Jesus...

Holy crap, that would be a minor miracle I feel like. I like Ward and Smith, but this ain't the time to be experimenting with those guys, imo.

Outside of Watkins, I am pretty optimistic it's all hand's on deck this Sunday in Seattle.

I think the reality is that if the Chiefs want to win then the offense has to do all of the heavy lifting. KC was able to force a turnover against Baltimore that would've won the game in normal circumstances but choked against the Chargers and misfired against Seattle.

This team is fun but at some point there has to be a change on defense.

Anyone advocating retaining Sutton at this point is advocating the indefensible at this point looking at Hitchens, the tackling, and playcalling I'd say at this point. It's a shame if this defense creates a bitter postseason with their ineptness.

Sutton has to be the fall guy.

The Chiefs can't have another defensive heavy draft. They need players on both sides of the football. They have 3 studs on the dline if you include a career year from Dee Ford.

You can't have your season on the line with CBs off the street covering 1st round and 2nd round WRs in 1 on 1 man coverage.

I suspect that's exactly what we're gonna get though outside of maybe a RB. There's some real truth to it, but I don't they the organization sees it like we probably do.

In other news, the Redskins released Swearinger. If Veach is going to be late-season dumpster diving guys, now would be a good time.

The Chiefs went all-in on run defense last offseason. Footballoutsiders rank against the run in 2018? You guessed it: 32nd. And its last place by a very large margin.

Its not a Gm thing at this point. Its coaching.

Yeah, when Hitchens all of the sudden goes from elite run defender to maybe the worst LB in the entire league, it's hard to come to any other possible conclusion at this point. Unreal how bad this Run D is with all the resources poured into it.

They brought in the Eagles dlinemen the year before and had the same result. Its definitely the system the Chiefs run.

I listened to the Seattle game on the radio but I knew the Chiefs were in trouble when they backed Seattle up to like 3rd and 13 on the opening plays and then Wilson just ran for 16+ on 3rd down.
