My friend managed to get us both Dawg Pack tickets for the Rose Bowl. Pretty lucky since there was only a limited amount.

Additionally, we got pretty lucky with our seat location. The Dawg Pack will be in one of the endzones and we landed in the third row right behind the goal post. Won't have the best sightline, but it'll be awesome being that close to the field in the student section. Can't think of a better place to sit.

Win or lose, I haven't been excited about anything this much in years. Super pumped to see our Dawgs play in the Rose Bowl!

Okay, so we’ve beaten the should’ve/could’ve won every game we lost thing to death. In the end the team did what they needed to do to win the conference and get to the Rose Bowl. I personally feel like that mostly salvages a season with some big disappointments, and if they can find a way to beat Ohio State, I’ll view it as a successful season, rather than a salvaged one. I think if you take away just one of the losses that could have easily been a win, people would feel even better about it. Still would have missed the playoffs, but 11-2 with a Rose Bowl trip looks a lot better tha 10-3 with a Rose Bowl trip.

So the question is this, if you could take one back, which is it? Auburn, a huge game at the time, with every opportunity to not just win, but take total control and set the tone for the season, also what we thought would be a “good” loss in that game ended up not so much with Auburn’s year. Oregon, the rivalry game that came down to a missed winning chip shot. Or Cal, by far the most pathetic looking loss, with all the fuckery that came with in addition to being the worst opponent of the 3 talent wise.

Auburn- Hands down ! Would of raised their stock, given them a huge motivation moving through the rest of the season.

Oregon- Kicker missed, but the offense could've been more dialed in on that last drive.

Cal- I'm just going to say this, " Cal is going to be a big pain in the ass for all PAC 12 teams for the next couple of years!
I have this feeling the Wilcox/Baldwin Combo are going to be the next great set of coaches to get a real program

When was the last time Huskies had 2 bye weeks? Kind of strange.

I think everyone has two bye weeks now. The season is 14 weeks this year. fbschedules.com has had the full schedules up for a while and it's easy to jump around the various conf schedules on it.

UW has one of the easiest slates of the teams in the North. Road games at Stanford, zona, Colorado, and the beavs? Yes please. USC at home and fairly early. Utah after a bye at home.

Ducks have road games at stanford, UW, USC late in the year, and ASU. They also have two byes, but end up with Cal and Arizona at home after both.

Stanford has a road game at USC in week 2 (Still like the ferd that early even on the road) Oregon State, Colorado, and WSU.

Schedule does set up nicely next year

Stanford's is fairly well setup too. The cougs are somewhere near the ducks with their road games against Oregon and us looming large. They do get two of their road games after byes.

Well I'm sure OreGon will come out of the spring as the top favorite for the PAC next year, which will be good, lot of new players take over for the Dawgs so flying under the radar will be good for the program.

Oregon will get national attention for sure, and Stanford won't make most top 25 lists because of their brutal OOC but they are legit contenders for the north as well.

Yeah not over looking Shaw and company, when nobody is talking about them that's when they are at their best.

Just got back from LA.

All football stuff aside, next time the Huskies go to the Rose Bowl, I highly recommend going. I know we lost, but it is hard to describe how incredible it was going to the game. Really happy I had the opportunity of attending the game.

The B-2 flyover was incredible, and it was awesome hearing the Husky section scream their lungs out, then hearing the Ohio State side doing the same.

That was definitely one of the best experiences I've had in my life. Really happy I made the last second decision to go to the game. It's really hard to articulate how incredible that experience was.

Yeah folks were selling their extra tickets pretty darn cheap on the Husky page.
If your a true Dawg fan this is most to do.....
