It pisses me off to see Seattle being used to threaten other teams.

I was a huge Sonics fan but after watching the screwjob bs that liar Stern and fatboy Bennett pulled on Seattle, only to watch Stern bend over backwards to support Sacramento while screwing Seattle again I don't want anything to do with the NBA unless it is done in an honest snd truthful manner.

As much as I would want an NBA team in Seattle, I really hope it doesn't come at the expense of stealing another cities' team.

We know what that feels like.

The suns owner should worry more about how shitty the Suns actually are than trying to hold Phoenix hostage and trying to move the team.

Completely agree with that. Unless it's the Kings or Clippers - nobody cares about them and they'd be better off as the Sonics.

He’s a dumbass. He’s Arizona through and through. He’s a UofA grad and and was born and raised in Tucson. Hard to say that about a fellow UofA brethren but he’s still a dumbass.

Report: Suns owner Robert Sarver threatens to move team from Phoenix

So basically if the city doesn't shell out 150 million in renovation in which the current mayor is outspoken in that they do not want to support that money, the Suns owner maybe looking into moving the team. PLEASE make this happen I want the NBA back in Seattle we have an NHL team now an NBA team would be amazing.

Holding your city and fan base hostage should automatically result in a loss of draft picks.

Um, why not keep it simple and move the Clippers to Seattle, where I hear Steve Ballmer has some ties to the community.

Those rumors are completely unsubstantiated.

Who would make up such nonsense?

Dude has probably never even set foot in Seattle...

Btw- these reports were completely shot down by Suns President Jason Rowley, they are committed to PHX and will reach an agreement to keep them there until 2037.
The guy who disagrees with him, can just fire him, right?

Seattle: What? An NBA team might relocate here again?!?!

Guy: Yeah. Sarver is gonna move the Suns

Seattle: Sarver? Hard pass.

A NBA team isn't coming back to Seattle for a long time. Everybody's jacked up for the NHL team and there's nowhere for a NBA team to play. Seattle's a decent market but there's no way it could support teams from all of the big 4.

Seattle's metropolitan area population is 3.8 million now, with the extended metro area population at 4.8 million, and one of the most financially affluent in the nation. They can support 4 sports if they see fit and rotating NBA and NHL games in one venue is feasible. Also the Chris Hansen arena proposal is still on the table.

So it can be done, but it probably won't be done anytime soon. The NBA wants to punish Seattle for not caving into their ridiculous billionare welfare demands when Stern and Bennett were licking each other's ballsacks.

Sacramento was looking at the Kings moving a few years back til they got their new digs, so they're settled 5for the time being...

as for the Clips, clearly Baller prefers being the Lakers' redheaded stepchild...
