ii. Tie-Breakers:
*Winner of the division ties are always broken first and if two teams are tied for the division lead the tiebreaker is division record first (since they play the same schedule), then breakdown record, then points for.

@leftypower

This is correct.

WEEK 14 STANDINGS

MBBRL-WEEK-14.jpg

Okay, so I already covered most of this in the Monday night recap, but since people were still throwing questions out regarding it today, here we go again. These are the playoff teams:

A league

#1 Tlance - winner of the Aramis division and gets to choose his opponent, which right now he selected Ram unless something changes
#2 Sam - winner of the Athos division
#3 Face - winner of the Porthos division
#4 Ram- winner of the wild card

B league

#1 EHB - won the Huns division and passed Trudem in breakdown in the last week to wrestle the title away from him and gets to choose his opponent. No word on who that will be yet.
#2 Trudem - won the Visigoths division
#3 BK - won the Ostrogoths division with a tie-breaker over Monkey because of better division record
#4 Chef - won the wild card over Monkey because of a better breakdown record.

Relegation Station

Harold and TKO will be moving down. Now that EHB has all the necessary criteria though, if he wins the Super Bowl, TKO will get to stay in the A league and only EHB will move up.

Oblivion

OBX and Stomp are the unfortunate souls now in oblivion. I don't think anybody else will be put up for oblivion due to roster violations or conduct unbecoming, so unless somebody wants out, we will only be voting on two spots next year.

A few notes

Even with his loss the last week Tlance still completed the most dominant regular season in A league history with a three game over the next best record, 66.6 (Wow nice number) more points than Barilko, and 22 more breakdown wins than anybody else. Nice season T.

So you all already know, but EHB passed Trudem for the coveted golden ticket to the A league with the breakdown title which means he will be moving up no matter what with the Super Bowl champ. Unless he wins the Super Bowl in which case only he will move up.

Great season guys and good luck to all of you that made the playoffs!!

Been a rough week for me. First my fantasy team falls apart on the eve of playoffs when I needed a W the most. I've never rooted so hard for a Viking in my life! Thanks Theilen! But then I came down with the flu on the same night. I wont go into details, but I felt like a human geyser for a few days. From both North & South poles.

But as for my limp-in... unfortunate way to win the division. I expected a better showing, but hopefully they were just saving themselves for the playoffs!! SO that's a wise choice to steer clear Tlance! :heh:

Paging @ehb5 we need a decision on your opponent please. Of course there aren't really any repercussions built into the constitution, but I'd say if the decision isn't made by the deadline (9:00pm) then it would just default to you playing the wild card team which is Chef. What say you guys @leftypower and @tlance?

Well I was wrong.................but I found some pretty good shit...............Both of Tiki Barber's top 25 were in week 17.....in consecutive years. Ray Rice's game was also in week 17. The week after Frank Gore's high game he was hurt and put up 4 points........the week BEFORE Gurley's 50 he put up 44 which would have actually made him the winner if he just could have put 2.4 more points that week......also, Gurley was sat in week 17....but the winner is................Steven Jackson (followed with 38) then is Kareem Hunt with 35. There were a few really big ones the week after and a few stinkers but fer the most part all were followed by "Good" games.

While this is true, all of the guys you mentioned were actually good the whole year. Unless you can find somebody else that had 83.5 points through 13 weeks (an average of 6.95 points per week) and then had 47.8 points in week 14 it's going to be kind of hard to compare.

@obxyankeefan - hate when you guys give me homework.
@Sam Sportboy - thanks for trying.

Did a search on RB with 200 rushing yards or more, sorted by rushing TD.
I only went back to the 2008 season.
Had 38 RB total meet the criteria.
But in the effort of time, I only looked up the next game for the top 10:

RB with 200 rush yards.png

Gray followed up with 1 carry for 4 yards and zero TD.
Henry is TBD.
Bell had 93 yards, 0 TD.
Foster 69/0
Harrison 148/1
Morris 80/0
Ajayi followed his day up with another 214/1, and in the his third game had 111/1.
Charles 56/0 (also, his next game was in the next season)
Gore 4/0
Gurley (this year) 63/2

Notice the attempts?
Those guys got tons of touches.
Just doesn't happen like that any more.
