Dallas was limited ability.

But in the end my point wasn't which one was a botter OC. My point was they reached their highest level of ability as OC's. Both are known as player coaches who have a hard time getting their team to play on a regular basis.

Ernie Grunfeld is easily the worse current GM in all of professional sports, with that in mind I want all of you to consider this:

Wizards GM Ernie Grunfeld is 546-692, a 44.1 winning percentage. (since 2003)

Washington under Bruce Allen is 58-84-1, a 40.6 winning percentage. (since 2009)

Not sure what you want us to consider Sty, most (not all) have been hoping Allen would have been cut loose a long time ago. We are with you brother.

A bit of gallows humor, If Grunfeld is easily the worse and Allen has a worse winning percentage than he does, what does that make Allen?

The difference is Grunfield is a GM (albeit a bad one). Allen just plays one.

They are in a tie for last. :D

Anyone remember when Bill Bidwell or the Bengals owners were considered terrible and we thought. Glad that isn't our team. I miss those days.

This just has to make me wonder about Snyder's thought process. He had to be aware of all of the attention & praise that was thrown towards the Caps during their Stanley Cup run. This resulted not only in a championship but no doubt a huge influx of revenue. Doesn't he see this and think "We need to do something different if we are ever going to reach that pt or even close".

Does he just not give a shit or is he totally clueless? Does anyone actually think that Bruce Allen can ever lead this team to a championship? In today's NFL the GM & FO are way more important than the coaching staff. A good coaching staff can make the most of your talent, but they can never coach a so-so or worse group of players to a championship level.

Does Snyder only care about Allen being happy to the detriment of the rest of the team and fans? Let's hope that he opens his eyes and makes some significant changes this offseason. I realize that this still means that Snyder will be around, but if he could revert to a setup w/ a true GM then at least this team has a shot.

I seriously think all of us on here would be better than Allen.

Except Dean...he sucks and simply parrots the talking heads but won’t admit it.

I honestly don't believe that Dan see the issue at all. I'm sure that they have meetings with the coaching staff and during those meetings he and Bruce ask questions concerning the state of the team. The questions are answered and there's a plan made to correct those issues. Afterwards, he and Bruce talk about how best to address those issues and Bruce sets out to get them done. Did any of you notice the problem with the original meeting? (Hint: Bruce was on the wrong side of the question and answer period)
