The Blackhawks have 3 wins in their last 20 games - They have lost their gear.
It's upsetting that the only team that seems to be doing better after sacking their coach is the Oilers.

I know that Toews is still a fine little player and has the name value but do you still see teams lining up to take him on at that price?
If they were cool with eating half the salary they could get a pretty good trade package back I bet.

Kaner still has good value though. Wonder if his hometown team would be interested in getting him back to the sunny shores of Lackawanna.

Bob is the 4th-longest serving GM at the moment. Of those 4, there are three Cups between them. They were all won by one guy, the last time he won it was a decade ago.

That has to get so frustrating as a fan. Like, I dunno, maybe try something new?

Murray and Carlyle. Admit it, you're somewhat jealous.

/and they got Eakins waiting in the wings down in San Diego as the cherry on the shit sundae

They certainly seem to be buying what Hitch is selling, but the question is how long will it last? I still don't know if Hitch can drag the Oilers into the playoffs, but here's hoping he can do enough to take them out of the top 10 as far as draft order is concerned.

Get embarrassed by the Canucks on home ice... that’s turmoil.

I think it was two seasons ago that following a loss to the Canucks, a team fired its head coach and I think it happened at least three times.

Oilers are looking good under Hitch thus far. Wonder if they can keep it up.

Bob Cole's last game will be April 6th, 2019 (a career spanning 50 years)

The National Hockey League’s oldest rivalry will provide the stage for Canadian broadcast legend Bob Cole to call his final regular season game on Hockey Night in Canada.

Cole, who is in the broadcast booth for his 50th and final season of Hockey Night, will handle play-by-play for the regular-season finale between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens on Apr. 6.

“When I began calling NHL games in 1969, I never dreamt I would still be doing it 50 years later,” Cole said. “I feel very fortunate to still be able to do the job I love and I truly appreciate the kindness shown to me from teams and players across the league during this final season with Hockey Night in Canada

They should let Harry Neale do the game with him.
