Huskers need to win 10 of 11 of their OOC games. Winning more than 10 games in the Big 10 could be difficult to get to the 20 overall they'll need for the dance. IMO

If the Huskers can get by the USC/Texas Tech winner tomorrow night they may have a good shot @ Clemson next Monday.

How good and confident has Glynn Watson looked so far this year? Averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting almost 60% from the field. If he can stay consistent with his shooting and be a real scoring threat that teams have to pay attention to...watch out.

I tried to be optimistic with expectations and buy into all the hype about '3 returning seniors off a 22 win team + Roby'. However, in the back of my mind I knew this is the same staff and team that got those wins when the Big 10 was WAY down and were eliminated in their first Big 10 Tournament and NIT games. I am back to earth now.

To get to the dance they'll need to win at least 4 of these remaining 6 OOC games. Western Illinois, @ #16 Clemson, cretin, Oklahoma St @ Sioux Falls, Cal St Fullerton, Southwest Minnesota St. That'll give them 8 non-conference wins. cretin in the PBA had better be one of those 4 wins.
They'll then need to win 12 of 20 in a seemingly improved Big 10 to get to 20 overall.
If they go .500 (10-10) they'll be on the bubble with 18 wins and needing to win two games in the Big 10 Tourney to make the dance.

i only watched part of the game, Palmer in foul trouble hurt. game seemed to change after the charge calls. as you said, the coaches just never seem to know what to do when they get in a scoring drought. they were just really sloppy the whole night. some of that might have been TT's D and the way refs were calling the game, but definitely need some plays or something to get the team back into it. rebounding was atrocious, so was paint play in general, I can't find the points in the paint stat, but certainly seemed like we were massively outscored there. need to hit some of the open 3s, they need a shooting threat from deep, if they are lighting it up from behind the arc, they'll beat anyone, but without that threat teams can pack the lane and stop Palmer/Copeland/Roby a lot easier.

Watching Duke Gonzaga right now. While I am not suggesting that we have anything close to the talent and depth in this game, the half-court offense in this game is so much crisper than ours. Ball moves inside and out leading to an open shot somewhere. It is very rare that you see 4 guys standing on the perimeter while the 5th tries to dribble and pull up or step back for a jump shot. If the Picker rolls and is open they try to get him the ball. A vast difference from the shitshow that is Tim miles half-court offense.

Did not watch the game today. Checked it on gamecast. 33 point lead the last I saw at around 15 mins remaining. At that time only 8 of 34 fg attempts were 3s. Looks like they got stupid after that. Took 12 more (made just 1) throughout the final 15. And of course were outscored by 9.
