Dude, you talk about LeBron like he's the second coming of God or something. Newsflash, there is no such thing as a perfect basketball player. Michael Jordan was the closet, but as it stands there is no such thing...

The Cavs failed to win the title in 10 of LeBron's 11 seasons with the team. Last I checked, he was part of those failures. He's the rule, not the exception.

What numbskulls like yourself fail to comprehend as well as that moron Max whatever his name is on ESPN - is that LeBron was part of the Cavs organization before Dan Gilbert was. In other words, Gilbert inherited a lot of the shit he was given. Back in the day, for instance they signed Damon Jones to a four-year contract. And even though he sucked - He was LeBron's friend, so there was that.

BTW I hope you like my new avatar. She's my cover girl and she knows she's my cover girl, but ultimately I'm using it just to infuriate you...

So you blame Lebron for all the moves Cleveland made over the years. He recruited great players and they didnt WANT to come to Cleveland so he had to resort to other options, but without him recrruiting they had NOTHING. Before he was a Cav they had NOTHING. I watched those Cavs games with Andre Miller, Tractor Traylor, an old Shawn Kemp...one player comes along and he single-handingly changes the FRANCHISE like no player has done not just in the history of the NBA but any franchise. He was THE TEAM.

After they finally won a championship, only bc Lebron came back, Gilbert messed up a number of times. Kyrie was out of the control of everyone but he had PG in a trade. Griffiin had the trade set up then he gets fired. Griffin made so many great moves for the Cavs organization too. And Gilbert did spend money but he also is the reason Lebron left the first time and the second time. If he keeps Griffin and gets PG, Lebron is still in Cleveland...plain and simple.

This might be a troll attempt but either way you look like an idiot posting it.

LOL.

You think your avatar makes me angry? I bet she doesn't know she is your avatar. I will laugh really hard if you get in trouble for this. Just remember that I warned you.

And no, LeBron isn't perfect. But he has been the best in the league for at least the last 10 years. And just look at how bad Cleveland was the season after each time he left.

I mean all I can say is if they were tanking purposely they wouldnt have signed Love, they would have traded him for picks. They are just stuck with bas contracts, that can be credited to bad moves but it’s what Lebron wanted. He wanted veterans and now they are trying to trade them, so from that POV there is nothing they can do. Now if this is just if they deserve it, then they probably dont bc of the luck they’ve had in the past with #1 picks. The new draft format definitely changes some things

Yeah.

I would like to see somebody like Phoenix or New York win. That could be fun.

Unless of course the Wizards actually do blow it up and somehow get in the mix. I doubt that happens, but we shall see.

And yet some in here got angry at me and called me names because I predicted the Cavaliers would do good to win 15 games this season. All of the Cavs said they were a really good team.

I am not sure that all the Cavs fans believed that, but there were certainly a couple dulusional homers who did.

I thought they would be better if Love was healthy, I also wasnt banking on him being healthy. I was thinking borderline top 10 pick with Love, 7 or 8. Turns out they are really bad without Love and bad with Love lolzz

I don't think anybody thought they would be this bad. Hawks and Knicks looked clearly worse (they may still be), perhaps a couple others also.

Beal to LA??

Depends.

Beal has by far the most value. I only want them to trade Beal if they deal Wall also. And I would not ask that much for Wall either.

Beal though? I doubt the Lakers would want to pay the asking price. Because my bet is that Magic values his kids higher than the rest of the league does. It would take Ingram + Hart, Ball or Kuzma for me to do that.

Honestly, Ingram + Ball for Beal could be just what the Lakers need, both short term and long term.

No he shouldn't.

But that is precisely my point.

Because for the vast majority of LeBron's tenure in Cleveland, it was him and a bunch of veteran misfits. Had Cleveland done things right, it is quite possible that he would have spent his entire career there (at least up til now) and have 3+ rings as a Cav.

But they screwed up. And he left. Twice.

What exactly should they have done right his first stint? When they first had lebron he was so good that it kept them out of the lottery the first few years, sort of in no mans land so we couldn't build up through the draft. Then he handicapped them by always threatening to leave and forcing them to be in win now mode, just to keep him happy. That kept them adding pieces but not enough overall, always having to do quick fixes to make him happy.

In his 2nd stint(colluding era), they basically matched what the heat did. 4 finals and 1 championship, and sans injuries could have been 4 finals and 2 championships. Keep in mind they didn't have a young OKC and Dallas team to face either. They had to face the greatest team of all time statistically speaking in GS.

How is it mind boggling? Before Lebron left everyone knew he had little around him. Add in the fact Love is hurt. Sexton is getting better but all their veterans are role players other than TT and they have zero All Stars players on the court with Love hurt lol. Why do the Suns deserve another one if they are purposely tanking? The only reasons the Cavs are down there is bc one player left. Shows us why Lebron is the greatest of all-time

GOAT because he had shit around him in Cleveland for a few years and dominated the East. Lmao how impressive. You’re such a homer. The loss to the Mavs in
Miami while you hated Lebron? Weak

Drank more

Why?

They don't deserve it.

The Cavs have already had 3 #1 overall picks in the last 8 years.

The fact that they are already back in the running for another without a major, intentional tank is absolutely mind boggling.

The lakers had 3 #2 overall picks in the last 4 years and ended up with Lonzo ball, Dangelo Russll and Brandom Ingram

The Cavs got Kyrie Irving and kevin love...

Kevin Love is injured this year not sure what is so surprising that a team that loses all 3 stars would be in the lottery....If GS lost Curry, Durant and Thompson would you be surprised if that team was in the lottery? lmao

When exactly did LeBron threaten to leave during his first stint? He was under contract the whole time and it was such a shock to Cleveland fans because he never indicated anything other than his love for Cleveland. Everything else was media speculation.

And I do think Cleveland did very well to beat GS once because they were the superior team all 4 years. Glad you are finally admitting something close to that. But it still doesn't explain the state of the roster today. Because they didn't lose Kyrie, they traded him. And they dealt 2 of those #1 picks for Love. 1 of whom was perhaps the biggest bust in the history of #1 picks.

I think the mistake during his first stint was that they kept trying to add FA's to get Lebron the help he needed and they couldn't get any difference makers. They should have figured out that they weren't getting anyone to come to Cleveland and tried to trade for a better player or 2. Maybe they did and couldn't get anything done? I don't remember them being involved in many trade rumors...but that was a long time ago, sooo...:noidea:

During the 2nd stint, they actually did a pretty nice job of setting things up the way they should have during the first stint and apparently even had a trade set up that could have really helped them. But they backed out when Lebron wouldn't commit long term.

Imo, not completing that trade because Lebron wouldn't commit was a mistake. I'm not saying that that he'd still be a Cav if they had, but it certainly wouldn't have hurt and they'd likely be in better shape than they are now if he still left.

Gilbert firing Griffin didn't help either.

The current Cav roster was created by a domino effect that started when David Griffin was let go. Up until that point, they did a lot of things right. But that move was the beginning of the end for LeBron. A clear signal that Gilbert was no longer willing to make all the moves LeBron needed him to. Everything that has happened since has been a comedy of errors.

Or...It's you that's just a fairweather fanboy.

LOL yep, that’s why I was disappointed a bad Cavs team lost last night. Lebron will always be my favorite player, I dont turn on players like you do and PG. The Cavs will always be my favorite team, all Cleveland teams no matter how shitty they are.

To follow the NBA as much as you do you think you would know more, maybe you think with your heart more than you pea brain but you just dont say too many knowledgable things like other posters. Just being honest, I dont really value your opinion much. :suds:
