How is it mind boggling? Before Lebron left everyone knew he had little around him. Add in the fact Love is hurt. Sexton is getting better but all their veterans are role players other than TT and they have zero All Stars players on the court with Love hurt lol. Why do the Suns deserve another one if they are purposely tanking? The only reasons the Cavs are down there is bc one player left. Shows us why Lebron is the greatest of all-time

I don't know fuck all about basketball, but I think he could be saying that if your team has gotten 3 of the last eight #1 picks and you're still in the running for the worst team in the league, you've done something very, very wrong, regardless of where Lee Brown James is playing.

The Suns aren't purposefully tanking.

They actually brought in vets like Ariza to try and win. The West is just insanely good.

at least they ended up going to 4 finals and winning one

You do this every now and then like you think it is some type of shot at me. There is nothing you can say about the Wizards that is going to hurt my feelings because I am not a delusional homer. I know they suck.

That said, any team that hits 3 #1 overall picks and manages to be back in contention for a 4th before any of those players hit RFA has done something wrong.

This isn't a comparison against the Wizards. I believe the Wizards in the conversation for most poorly run franchise in the NBA over the last 40 years.

That doesn't have anything to do with the statement of fact that Cleveland's assets have not been managed all that well. They won a championship because a player who is in the GOAT conversation returned via free agency and dragged them there.

Wait a minute. Cavs had a colluding team for 3 seasons or so. And basically STILL lucked out to win a 'ship. They wouldn't have won even 1 'ship if Green didn't get suspended for BS and Curry wasn't injured.

Because for the vast majority of LeBron's tenure in Cleveland, it was him and a bunch of veteran misfits. Had Cleveland done things right, it is quite possible that he would have spent his entire career there (at least up til now) and have 3+ rings as a Cav.

But they screwed up. And he left. Twice.

The Wiz are just pretty much irrelevant in the grand scheme of the NBA. Really not worth talking too much about or debating besides discussing just how unsuccessful they have been. Its hard to be so bad in the NBA for so long.

I rememeber when LeBron was young and the Wiz had some semi-talented teams with Jamison/Butler/Arenas, etc. and how the CAvs just whooped their ass all the time....that was fun.

The Cavs failed to win the title in 10 of LeBron's 11 seasons with the team. Last I checked, he was part of those failures. He's the rule, not the exception.

What numbskulls like yourself fail to comprehend as well as that moron Max whatever his name is on ESPN - is that LeBron was part of the Cavs organization before Dan Gilbert was. In other words, Gilbert inherited a lot of the shit he was given. Back in the day, for instance they signed Damon Jones to a four-year contract. And even though he sucked - He was LeBron's friend, so there was that.

I mean all I can say is if they were tanking purposely they wouldnt have signed Love, they would have traded him for picks. They are just stuck with bas contracts, that can be credited to bad moves but it’s what Lebron wanted. He wanted veterans and now they are trying to trade them, so from that POV there is nothing they can do. Now if this is just if they deserve it, then they probably dont bc of the luck they’ve had in the past with #1 picks. The new draft format definitely changes some things
