Of course it's irrelevant to my point. My point is one of entertainment value only...and this arena league, point-a-minute style of football is not entertaining to me when it's more the norm. Especially a game filled with all the penalties and turnovers. I don't care much about all the records and the hype and whatnot.

What if they simply make it flag football, and scores are in the 70's/80's? Does that make it even more entertaining? I imagine to some people, it would.....

I'm saying it doesn't for myself.
You’re crazy. There was great defensive plays last night. That was part of the reason the game was so high scoring.

And all you “flag football” theorists need to calm down. There was around 8 sacks last night that led to great field position and defensive td’s. The game is plenty physical.

There are plenty of low scoring, shitty games for you to watch every week so let’s not blow this out of proportion.

Also, considering this is the first time in HISTORY two teams scored 50, I wouldn’t call it the norm.

Great offensive display which was only out-shadowed by the all star referees and their collection of yellow hankies.
Yeah but the refs missed quite a few defensive holding penalizes.

Turnovers don't mean 'great defensive play'....and given that you equate 'low scoring' and 'shitty' speaks as to how you view the game.

If they are cause by a beast blasting through the O line and stripping the QB they're great and we saw 3 of those didn't we???

It was a decent game, but it can't compare last week's 49ers-VaGiants battle of the ages.

No. It speaks to low scoring, shitty games unlike the great game we saw last night.

Btw- I know two of the turnovers were from elite defense.

Low scoring doesn't necessarily mean strong defense either. It just as easily means inept offenses (and sometimes ridiculous weather conditions).

I'm not sure I fully agree with that narrative.

I thought he was basically a game manager against Arizona which is why he took so many sacks.

In his last 7 games, 10 ints and 4 fumbles. He's been loosey goosey with the ball and needs to sew that up. It will hurt them against better competition in January.

So who had Samson Ebukam as the leading scorer for the Rams in last nights night game? Nobody more TDs than him.

The Chiefs defensive competition almost certainly is going down, not up in the playoffs this year is the semi-bizarre part of this. The Jags and Cards are better than most the D's on the schedule. Denver won't be in the playoffs. The Chargers were handled... handily. Browns had 37 dropped on them; the INT was low leverage/end of the half type silliness. The Steelers got 6 TD's dropped on them. The Chiefs have played one of the hardest schedules on D in football (which is why their oDVOA was way ahead of everyone, including the Rams and Saints coming into this week) so forgive me for being a bit incredulous here.
