Now that was much better than the first game vs Philly.

2 solid wins. Damn, have not been here for a bit but read some posts.
In the minority I guess but Hynes is not the problem.
This team barely made the playoffs last season with a late push only to get smacked by a TB team that is a true contender. Give credit to of course Hall but also Hynes who was in top 5 Jack Adams race.

This team IS still rebuilding. Shero had little options to improve this team much this offseason. It is basically the same team, lacking the proper defense, still overall young, that played last season.
That losing streak sucked but this will happen with a team that is still in the rebuilding phase.
I was frustrated too but lets hope they build on these couple of wins.

Shero will have to add pieces. We are not a contender yet.

I guess my stern and disapproval online ranting has fired up these guys... good win.

And the starting goaltender is Kinky's to lose. But I do recognize that Cory DOES NOT get true offensive help(not dismissing his errors but its clear IMO)

I don't view Hynes as "the" problem but that stretch, like many before, showed to me more of a wall with Hynes n the staff than anything. for f sakes, the defensive staff should've been canned long ago. Not every other team in the league have all stars playing on def but they do bring something to the table via tactics or schemes.

Last years team had a much better feel to it offensively. Even when they were down, you thought they could comeback and win. Which we did many times however this go around, starting off the season, I don't have that same feeling nor do we have that explosion anymore. Hall was the MVP of the league n his teammates were much more impactful than they are now.

Back to Hynes, if a coach like John Q wasn't out there, maybe not so much press from the fans POV but it does offer a chance to expand what our team is capable of when a highly regarded and qualified coach like Q is available.

I hear you. I think part of the comeback problem is Hall had a pretty slow start.
Agree on Kinkaid. I am not sure Cory will ever be the same. The only problem with Kinkaid is when he has a bad game, it is a very bad game.

Defense needs improvement. Hopefully with the shut out last night, they gain some level of confidence.
Santini is not the savior, but I can't wait to have him back in the lineup. Have some hopes for him.

Zacha has played better since being demoted, but he now has a reputation as the player who missed a glorious chance to score.

That was a game we should've won...

Hall was awful with the puck. Lazy on defense too

Man what a burden Schneider is. What do we do with him? Buyout? Attach a pick/prospect and move him? Trade him but eat salary?

Coach Q should be hired by Shero today. Or at least before Philly does it.

Not adding anything new here but like a broken record, we are regressing. There's no real threat from any line anymore. No good offensive flow or gameplans IMO. Our MVP is having an awful year(forcing way too much), our #1 pick isn't taking his game to another level yet and our coaches have simply failed.

Not mentioning Cory for the obvious.
