Undocumented PhD
Not just for this season but for their career.
lol asshole! obv gurley. im with you though. Id disagree if chubb hadnt tore himself up......Todd Gurley.
If I had to choose between the two, I think Michel has the higher ceiling.
i agree. but the difference to me is. how they have returned.People talking knees with Chubb like Michel isn't a knee injury waiting to happen every week himself?
Chubb's vision is still very good, though. He has looked fantastic since getting a fulltime role with the Browns, fwiw.i agree. but the difference to me is. how they have returned.
again, im not a dr., im a therapist, even though ive been told im lying. the knee issues are two different types of issues. Chubb is still a good back, a very good back, but not the same back he was pre-injury.
his vision is good, his ability to hit the hole is another thingChubb's vision is still very good, though. He has looked fantastic since getting a fulltime role with the Browns, fwiw.
Michel is the dual threat who is going to earn his keep outside the tackle box as a runner while Chubb is a power runner with deceptive speed who can make a living up the middle. I can see both being successful but I think Michel's strengths heavily depend on the offense and who the quarterback is while you could insert Chubb into almost any lineup. That's why I'd go with Chubb personally but I wouldn't say you're wrong to take Michel.assuming health
Michel I think hes a better pass catcher, hits the hole better, and as a little shiftier with better vision.
Chubb is still good, but hasnt been the same back since his college injury. I see chubb as a middle of the road RB. Just my opinion though. I think michel can be special if he stays healthy
I think 4 games is a suspect sample size. If anything it just highlights the weakness of betting on RB's in general. We're trained to be sensitive to detect a .1-.3 difference in YPC.his vision is good, his ability to hit the hole is another thing

not to be a jerk, but her ran decent against cleveland, not good against pitt, not good against chiefs, and shredded the worst D in the league
i love chubb, hes one of those players i have a soft spot for even being on the browns.....
Modern medicine has progressed to the point where these knee injuries aren't career enders like they used to be. People forget Gurley had a pretty rough knee injury in college and he looks unstoppable for the Rams.People talking knees with Chubb like Michel isn't a knee injury waiting to happen every week himself?

you watched him more than me, i jsut think he looked FAR more dominant pre injury, and far better hit the holeGurley tore up his knee in college too, so I wouldn't hold it against Chubb. His junior season in college was definitely effected, but his senior season he showed no ill effects, and he hasn't his rookie season in the NFL either.
i agree, just using at as a counterpoint to him being really good since taking overI think 4 games is a suspect sample size. If anything it just highlights the weakness of betting on RB's in general. We're trained to be sensitive to detect a .1-.3 difference in YPC.
That may be- he's still good tho, just watch and see. I think the Browns are gonna be a headache for teams down the stretch.you watched him more than me, i jsut think he looked FAR more dominant pre injury, and far better hit the hole
absolutely, but there is always inherent risks, and some come back better than othersModern medicine has progressed to the point where these knee injuries aren't career enders like they used to be. People forget Gurley had a pretty rough knee injury in college and he looks unstoppable for the Rams.
