i went back and watched JOnes vs UNC and was not that impressed. At least not round 1 impressed. Can't speak to the character nor intelligence which could boost him but his throw types were very simple. Flats, slants, and 9s. Most all his big yardage came on slants off of PA or RPO looks, the ball looked mediocre coming out of his hand (below average arm talent). He will really need to show he has it between the ears to be a good starting NFL QB. I was very impressed with his athleticism for his frame, his deep ball accuracy is mostly good (although he had like 3 throws in the game that are NFL picks... bailed out by CBs with 0 awareness on a trash UNC team that instead of turning around and playing ball, tackled WR on underthrows).

My favorite thing about him on tape is his toughness and movement in pocket. Something very important but I don't see a round 1 arm.

Finley has a round 1 grade right now. I don't really see it. Probably more of a day 2 pick. He won't be a bad NFL player, but still trying to figure out if he is a starter or good backup QB in the NFL.. He shows signs of starting material, but also signs of backup material.

I am wondering how you guys would rank the QBs from 2019 and 2020? I think we will be looking to draft the future either this year or next year.

Also wondering what you think of Pat Jasinski?

I’ve been told there are many people who think Justin Herbert will stay in college for his Senior year.

It depends where we pick how the draft process plays out free agency how denver plays down the stretch etc etc etch

we will see. QB is a big need still.

Are you using a #1 or #2 in this draft on a QB? I'm using 2020 #1 on one but, maybe a 3rd 4th on one in 19 for backup.

Still too early in the process for me to say. I need to see if Herbert/Haskins declare. I don't see any QBs I would take top 20 out of the seniors.

Can already tell you I am a hard pass on Daniel Jones and Will Grier round 1. I am intrigued by Lock but only late round 1 (for that 5th year option).

I like Rypien day 2.

just depends on where denver is drafting and how board falls and who declares. Just waiting on that before really diving in there.

I would take Grier over Lock...

Daniel Jones doesn't do it for me right now. Haven't seen anything that really excited me other than mobility. Maybe he will grow on me. Doesn't mean he is a bad QB, just not getting his hype right now as a potential #1 overall guy. Jones is very tough. I do like that about him.

South Carolina QB Jake Bentley is so underrated it isn't even funny.

Ryan Finley is so up and down. One extreme to another. I love him then I don't.

Lets fast forward a few years.

USC QB JT Daniels
Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence
Iowa State QB Brock Purdy

I’m trading up for Haskins
He’s getting better and better as the season and heat up

Last night was Brady-est

He threw TD passes from everywhere on the field and every type of route

I am with you on Haskins. He can be sluggish. Maryland and Purdue games I saw things I didn’t like but that’s any QB.

He is only a RS Soph too.

Who are the top injured Big10 phenomenal TEs coming out for the draft this year? It is never to early or late for the Broncos to add to their collection.
