Can Aaron Rodgers be part of the problem?

Aaron is dealing with a few rookie receivers. Not saying that is the main problem, but coming out of the huddle, Rodgers is looking for a specific play, and these rooks are breaking off their routes. No more Jordry, no more Jennings, now more Driver.....it is a learning curve.

Plus get an offensive minded coach next year, pleeeeeeeease

I'm not saying he is bad. He is great. No question. But he has to shoulder some of the blame. Although his numbers look great, he has made some mistakes this year that cost his team.

Rodgers seems to be immune to criticism.

I'm glad you are fighting this battle as I've had many discussions about Rodgers on this board this season ...

Rodgers is still a good QB but he is not as elite as people remember him .... not as accurate and still takes way too many sacks.

I have seen him go for the home run several times when he easily could have moved the chains.

He didn't have his greatest game last night and overall this may be his most 'human' season, playing-wise. My comment was directed at any thought of him being in general part of the Packers problem. Like I said, the Packers have been for years one of the most overrated teams in the league. Think about it - year after year any number of pundits and analysts predict that this is the season the Pack goes to and wins the SB. Yet year after year how close have they come since their last appearance? The only reason they continue to garner the annual hype is due to Rodgers and Rodgers alone.

ESPN: "Hey Scott, we need you to come up with some highly subjective stat that shows Brady is the worst at something.
It's almost the end of the week and we have yet to run a hit piece on him or the Pats. Thanks"

Had a bad quarter against the Seahawks....it happens. Still doesn't change the fact that he's the best QB in the league that is time and time again forced to carry a sub-standard franchise. A big problem is the Packers offensive system - one that asks its receivers to beat guys one on one vs. truly offensive-minded guys who put their receivers in position to be open.

Rodgers is awful this year, get a grip. :L

As a diehard Bears fan who hates Rodgers in the most respectful way, I find it amusing that there is even an inkling of a thought as to he being part of any problem. If it wasn't for him, the Packers would annually be drafting in the top 10. These Packers have been for years the most overrated team in the NFL, but that's strictly because he has the ability to take over a game completely, and they are always in it when he's under center.

Everyone has a bad year, sometimes. Phillip Rivers had 2 bad years in a row, but that doesn't mean he's not a great QB.

QB is the last thing GB needs to worry about any time soon.

On the same token, people need to chill the f**k out when a guy has one good season (Michael Vick, Cam Newton, Kaeptard). I remember people talking Sam Bradford up like he's the next great thing after his rookie year (same with Dak).

Wentz had a great stretch of like 7 games last year, and people are already working on his HOF bust. So far so great for Mahomes, but let's see him do that again next year when coaches have more time to figure him out (like they did with Kaeptard).

This guy is a tool... most of Brady's throws off target are actually throw aways (i.e. he's about to get clocked and he's going to live for another down/series). He was the worst cherry picking stat troll on KFFL. He got so much grief there, it hardened him into the uber Brady-hater he is today.

Unfortunately, he believes the QB position can be boiled down to a digitized stat based algorithm that he forms to fit his axe-grinding agenda. Probably would have made a decent accountant, especially if you need your books cooked.

Yes he has been part of the problem he I having an off season. He is off on throws and timing is off. Hard to say if it is just getting older but my guess is much of it is with his injured knee in week one and only practicing 1 or 2 days a week for much of the first half of the season. This has not allowed him to work with the receivers with some being rookies getting routes and timing down. Yes Rodgers is at fault

Horrible in the 4th quarter. He was missing wide open receivers and making bad decisions by trying to go for the home run when he could have moved the chains.

QB's Rodgers has beat - Trubisky, Allen, Beathard, Osweiler
QB's Rodgers has not beat - Smith, Stafford, Goff, Brady Wilson, Cousins

Can't win on the road either - last 2 4th quarters on the road...

42% Completion
82 Yards
62 passer rating
0 TD's

McCarthy sucks, but why does Godgers always seems to get a pass?

Found an acorn, did ya'?

Horrible 2nd half. No td’s, low completion percentage. Missed a wide open receiver for an easy TD in the 4th quarter...

How long is this guy going to be immune to criticism?

im gonna throw something out there...

Rodgers is the greatest i have ever seen at FREE PLAY yards and TDs... The new Rules might be the reason that he is having so much trouble... He doesn't get the free play yards anymore...

Serious question: if GB gets eliminated from the playoffs does Rodgers go on the DL like he’s done in the past?

Good point.

His offensive skill position mates are also in competition for worst in the division.
