I read where he said he wanted to try to get custody of his son. The son he tried to kill and caused irreparable harm to in the process. So, it’s pretty clear he didn’t learn anything while in prison.

Interesting, I heard the opposite. At one point in time he said he wanted to reconnect with his son and then after stated it was best for all involved to stay away. The son is handicapped and being raised by grandparents. So while not an ideal situation I'm not sure who takes care of the kid after the grandparents pass away or no longer can. It is still his son no matter how much of an Ahole Carruth is, he should take care of him financially even if not in any other way.

Fucker should have rotted in jail until he died. I am not a fan of people who murder someone with malicious intent to ever get out of jail or actually remain alive for that matter.

So he hires an assassin to kill his girlfriend, who was 8 months pregnant with his kid, participates in the hit, the woman is shot 4 times, later dies and the kid is mentally disabled and he gets 18 years.

Tell me again about mass incarceration and how unfair the courts are to people of color.
