To me, that's their biggest challenge, but that isn't saying much. I'm predicting a perfect season by ND but I also wouldn't be surprised if USC knocks them off.

This is the amazing rationalization of college football fans. Let's rank Team A higher because they would beat the team they to which they lost if the game was played today.
If that was the criteria for ranking, than any upset ever would be ignored as the favored team would probably win if they had the chance to play the game again.
