Guys first off congrats on the game yall played hard and our Princeton Graduate Coach played to Tie!
To Effing Tie
On Cooper he might work Out but we over paid IMHO at this point.

Oh can I trade jerry Jones the GM for a DC politician because at least you know they are lying to ya when their lips are moving

ENJOY the win and we will c what happens next time

Danny isn’t gonna like Dallas grabbing the headlines with Cooper. Peterson to the skins for a 1st 2nd and 3rd headline tomorrow

Huh? What bullshit am i focusing on? Route running is bullshit?

You can run precision laser routes with 4.1 in the 40 yd dash speed. If you can't catch worth a fuck what good are those other attributes?

Yes smith has been a problem. You know what would help him? A receiver who can win on the outside. Our receivers have been a big problem too.

Are you saying Redskins WRs haven't won on the outside in 2018? Can't say I've seen a whole lot of that. Alex doesn't seem keen on passing outside the hashes. And from what little I've seen of Richardson's skills, catches with his hands, goes up and gets balls thrown over the middle, made a good adjustment on his 46 yd TD that was slightly short-armed by Smith. I think what Richardson needs more than a new team mate is for Smith's scary ass to start giving him some legit chances to make a play........even in tight coverage. Same goes Doctson who isn't a speed demon, but has the ability to win on contested passes.

And from what I've seen. Smith doesn't have a problem. He is the problem. At least the biggest one.

No the biggest personal issue this team has has always been a lack of talent. Particularly young talent.

Cuz we trade picks and/or young and homegrown talent away in multiple pieces for one piece trades. Just like we just did for Alex Smith.

Don't make stupid trades for washed up players. But smart teams do make trades for players like cooper.

All the Skins do is make stupid trades. Its like their super-power or something.

Dallas Cowboys = smart team? Who knew?

Some of you are so scared to ever be burned again by a move that youd rather we just roster no talent no name players instead. It's absurd.

What's absurd is how many Skins fans get woodies the second they hear the word "Trade" Keep that shit in your fantasy football leagues. Far as having a no talent roster. They could draft better and stop doing dumb ass 2 piece for 1 piece trades like the Alex Smith deal. That would help don't you think?

I've said before that CT is our best receiving option. I'd love to see him in the slot, but with his size, they list him at 195, but he doesn't look that big to me, and his injury history, includes a broken back. I'm not sure he'd hold up any better than he already does at RB. Which is why I wouldn't mind seeing the Skins try him out as a #2.

And I'm not saying Cooper is done. Maybe all he needs is a change of scenery. If he needs anything else he's not getting it here and truth be told. The scenery around here ain't all that hellified either and if Smith doesn't get his shit together with a quickness. Everyone that was ridin his jock after the Skins traded for him, coaches, players, fans, the media, management, all of em, will be riding the anti-Alex bandwagon as well.
Id take Smith over Cousins all day, everyday and twice on Sundays. Without a doubt. Don't know what you have to happen for me to be anti-Smith.

Thompson seems smaller than that to me too. I like the guy, he's a real weapon.

Just floating the idea...Josh Norman may be cut next season anyway, Thomas has 1 year left on his contract and not to mention Oakland might want more than a #1 for Amari. Now if the skins were somehow able to trade Doctson and a 5th round pick for Amari I would be all for that trade.

Norman and DT are both aging and overpaid but still solid players. But id rather have Norman before factoring in the pick.

Doctson and a 5th is not close to enough for Cooper (and on the off chance Im wrong there and dallas got him for that much we are monumentally stupid for not beating that offer).

Now, would anyone here have given up more that a 1st to get him? Because that's what it would have taken. Thanks Jerry, you saved us from ourselves.

A deal involving a 1st is definitely at the upper limit of where id pay.

I think people acting like Dallas is crazy for giving that up are well...crazy, but I dont think its a steal either. More like fair market value.

You do realize he has 225 career catches right? So uhh yea really good route running is pretty damn helpful considering he catches the football a lot.

Yes redskins wrs have not won on the outside in 2018. We have bad WRs. Crowder is the best of the bunch and he's hurt and best served in the slot.

Just because smith has been bad that doesnt change the fact that our wrs have also been bad. I think some people are so obsessed with hating on smith they refuse to see the whole picture.

The difference between trading for smith and cooper is immense. Smith is an old redskins style trade. Cooper is a patriots, eagles, rams style trade.

So because we make stupid trades we shouldnt trade? That makes no sense. Our trading past is irrelevent. The only thing that matters are the merits of the actual trade being discussed. We could lose every trade in history and it still wouldn't make a future good trade opportunity into a bad one.

Trades are a good tool to use. Don't be afraid of them.

A lot of you seem to take the approach that...

We have sucked at trading so all trading is therefore bad and...

We have sucked at free agency so all free agency is bad...

Meanwhile the best teams in the league are out here making smart trades and FA pickups.

Stop being scared just because we've had poor management. It doesn't mean we have to make poor decisions moving forward. That is completely illogical.

I haven't seen many Raider games but talked with a big Raider fan who told me that Cooper couldn't separate and would have bouts of dropsy-itis. !st rounder is a stiff price as we as Redskin fans no all to well. However, dude is better than any of our wide outs so I'm glad we played em before he came on board.

The Raiders should have 3 top 15 picks in the 2019 draft. The Cowboys still have to sign Cooper. I think its a steep price. Are the Cowboys better with Cooper? Yes. Will the Cowboys make the playoffs this year? NO.

Really far as taking Smith over Cousins eh. Well as a football fan who has experienced both playing for his team. Though Smith's sample size is considerably smaller. I'd take a week old corpse with case of cooties over Alex Smith.

Rae Carruth is a free agent again. :D

I saw that he was released yesterday. I don't get it. What's more premeditated than soliciting and paying someone to murder another person. That was an open n shut capital murder case

Crazy ridiculous for the current version of Cooper.

I mean... it's not like this isn't the same person who had an absurd amount of yardage before age 23...

You have to factor that into who he is a as a player and the odds of success for the trade.
