Not a bad source of info at a glance. Notice the age of JPM vs Bubba and Tavares. Yes he needs to rise quickly. He is doing well against the leagues top prospects in the AZL

Julio Pablo Martinez adjusting to life in US

Martinez, the Rangers' No. 2 prospectaccording to MLB Pipeline, said when he signed in April that he wanted to be in the Major Leagues in three years. The former star from the Cuban National Series is one year closer to fulfilling that dream.

"The goal has not changed since my first year," Martinez said. "I'm not one to go back on my word. Two more years. Next year, I am going to come better prepared and ready to take the next step and the next challenge in my career."

Rangers add Chavez, Clapp to managerial search

Clapp was a career Minor League player, although he played 23 games for the Cardinals in 2001. He has been working in the Minor Leagues since his playing career ended in 2006, both as a coach and a manager. He has spent the last two years managing Triple-A Memphis, leading the club to the Pacific Coast League title in 2017. He was the PCL Manager of the Year that season. He is currently working as manager of the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League, and they are based in the Rangers' complex.
