2018-2019 offseason thread

Figured it was just as good of time as any to start this. Although I don't expect to see a lot going on with us during this offseason.

I do a new manager !!!! fire buck world series next year . I would like to see scott as a starter .
it's going to be more of updates on injuries ( hunter Harvey , hays and sedlock ) . the catcher martin C if he has a huge afl caleb is gone . mesa brothers ?

Yeah, I would like both Dan and Buck gone and start completely fresh. I appreciate what Buck has done but I think it's time for someone else to take the reigns. Never been impressed by Duquette so if he leaves, I won't care.
Hopefully we can land at least one of the Mesa's with all of the international pool money we acquired.

I would love a ray miller type for pitching coach . he was the one better pitching coach then manager ? call him rabbit or something like that sign of getting old . we have the arms in the system . we have outfielders out the ass mountcastle scouts say a corner outfielder so don't be shocked if some get traded if we pick up mesa . steward is growing on me . hays rf steward lf mullins cf McKenna cf . that would be 2 lhb and 2 rhb . kremer seems like the best pitcher picked up in a trade .

I still would like to know what's getting lost in translation from the minors to the majors in regards to our starting pitching. Is it because OPACY is a hitters park and we have to face the Yanks and Red Sox there 9-10 times a season?

I think stuff ram is a bp arm needs a third pitch . hess is getting other pitches to work and is coming around . a lot come up mainly fastball . then again we have brought up the wrong pitchers . klein should have been up early in the season .

aaa I can see oliver , tate , akin , kremer and means at aaa . lee is headed to afl .
aa lowther , bauman , wells
thats a pretty good 8 we will have others coming dl hall is keys man keys are gonna be loaded knight shorebirds with gray rod .

plus like tonight if not for the e they would still be playing .

Call me a skeptic but I don't fully trust these guys when they say stuff like that. Sounds like they're already preparing excuses for if/when they don't sign them.

yes Harvey , scott and klien are fringe pitching . I would love to see scott as a starter he reminds me of a young britton . I will love seeing a good hitting and pitching coaches . if I was the hitting coach first 2 strikes is yours but third is mine . put it in play .

the good pitching will be ready in 2020 . afl I love McKenna and Wilkerson obp lee in 2 games scoreless so far .

Looks like Manny made out the best in the dismantling trade deals. His new team has a chance for a WS title.

I would still rather him be an Oriole, but no player wants to wait for an opportunity to win a ring when they can be placed on a team ready to win. :pout:

Of the names being mentioned, I think that Ben Cherrington would be the best fit.
