That being said, I tried to watch Making a Murderer, but it felt to forced, as far as the documentarian trying to set their opinion. I might try and go back to it some day and give it a chance, but it will never be The Thin Blue Line.
Yes, if you haven't seen it, I would recommend it.The Thin Blue Line ????? - movie, documenrary??
I will watch it eventually. The first season was obscenely slanted, but it was entertaining.Just noticed the second "season" just released yesterday. My wife and I watched the first a couple years ago and plan to watch this one. I know the first part was obviously slanted to make you think he's innocent, but external information from other sites show the other side. I've read reviews from those sharing a similar viewpoint who have started watching part two and are back to thinking innocent.
Anyone else planning on watching?
I haven’t seen S2, but S1 never mentioned that he was stalking the chick for months before she showed up his place. The show made it seem like they had zero connection to each other. He was also a felon and should not have had a gun. The show mentioned that he was a felon, but never put it together that he should not have had the rifle.Just finished it, is it just me or is this just a Michael Moore type show. There is zero chance a jury could unanimously find someone guilty of murder from what they have shown on the two seasons. Something huge has to be left out to make her family and friends so completely certain he and Brandon did it. Even members of the victim can’t have such hatred for two people, because a lawyer as terrible as they portray him, tells them some story that according to the show doesn’t add up.
Vandal doesn’t pretend to be a legit documentary, though. It is clearly a spoof.Another "documentary" of similar quality on Netflix is American Vandal. Give that a try.
I think you missed my point. MaM is so biased it might as well be fiction.Vandal doesn’t pretend to be a legit documentary, though. It is clearly a spoof.
Making tries to pass itself off as legit. While S1 was entertaining, it was kinda infuriating how horribly slanted the story telling was. I am not certain I will ever waste my time with S2.
I think I was agreeing with you, just pointing out that MaM tries to make you think it is legit, which makes it a farce while Vandal embraces the spoof, which makes it MORE legit than MaM.I think you missed my point. MaM is so biased it might as well be fiction.
*also, I agree. I won't even bother with S2.
