Cano contract I’ll agree, but if it was just the Adam Jones trade alone it wasn’t bad, it was the Chris Tillman trade to me. Jones was the top prospect that had no role with the team and they got a solid pitcher back. Had the team half performed the way they did the previous year it wouldn’t have been a bad deal at the time. But they gave up their two top prospects for 100 losses. Bedard would be a solid number 2 behind Felix had the offense or bullpen performed, but they didn’t and Mr. Anti Social and anti 6 innings didn’t look good. I’ll put that deal in the category of signing Figgins or Silva.

Kind of like how I’ve disagreed with Jerry trading all of the top guys in the farm system (prior to him getting the job) You can package those guys in bigger deals or add them in in to deal a guy like Seager or Felix. No one will take on those contracts but giving up a prospect should entice some team enough where they will take some of it. This was the year to make the playoffs and Jerry had not ammo to pull off what they needed at the deadline so had to shop at the Goodwill instead Macy’s or insert your higher end store.

yeah..but.. no other team could compete..with the jalen beeks trade

ulmax recomended trades

robert..stephenson..cinn......if they are going to trade leake i would get stepenson first

gordan and leake to san diego

zunino to miami

but if they go this way it may still work out

are the chances good...lol.....no and no...the right trades have to work out....and/or the right free agent signings

that is a lot that can go wrong ......lol

Don't think they will go into spring training with Segura and Gordon both still on the team. They won't trade Segura so Gordon is as good as gone.

Yea its just an endless cycle. We are reaching the point where Dipoto will need to make the desperate move to save his job that will fuck over this franchise for years. You know, the Adam Jones move or the Cano Contract type of move.
thanks

i do feel like a broken record, though

it's all so fucking hysterical

that being the case and nick zammarelli playing 1b/rf....they still need a 1B at modesto
while juan comacho could fill that role...i dont know whether or not he can play 1B..cuz he is a cather/dh

and those are really the only two spot im worried about the 1b at modesto and
the Rf at low a

Around the A.L. West:

The Angels on Sunday announced the hiring of Brad Ausmus as their new manager.

Jon Heyman of Fancred reports that the Rangers have told Joe Girardi that he will not get their manager job.

every year at AAA and some at AA a lot of MLB teams fill in with MILB free agents...for guys that have done 4 years or 6 years out of high school with a team...and have not been put on a...40 man roster

so the mariners are the same...
so from modesto down is the real minors..
then a lot of guys at AA are guys in there last year before they must be put on a 40 man roster..and some guys at AAA as well

so that is why..the mariners need at least two more good drafts..without trading any minor league guys

to make there minors system..not the worst in baseball

I went into last year with no expectations and they still managed to make it more painful then I could have asked. I do appreciate that they tanked in July rather then September tho. But yea I cant invest anymore energy into them. I enjoyed the Brewers from a far this season and they gave a great run, I think they will be back next year too. I just think its humorous that the 29 other teams are at least able to admit who they are but theres one that just cant.
