Garage door opener and factory bedlighting ... I haven't see either. Power sliding rear window would be another nice option.

It's a sad day.
Ford better be fooling around here.

I think so
It's rather common for car compaines to hold back something so they can offer up more when models get a refresh
I'm sure they believe that just rolling back the Ranger into the Ford line up here will garner "excitment" for now
But yeah. It would suck if they're serious

Ford has also been known to not produce models in that may cannibalize sales of other models. Esp
As much as I like it, the F-150 Raptor is just to big for what I need/want.

I rarely need an F-150, but I could often use something like the Ranger. Muddy soccer gear, hauling bikes to the greenway, things of that nature. The Raptor just adds the level of pizzazz that a car enthusiast needs to justify a truck as a sole vehicle.

I had a 83 Ranger with a shell way back when. It served me well

A little too blingy for my taste but nice looking truck.

Hood scoops are dumb. There's no air on top of the hood anyway. But the rest is the same stuff you can buy online and put on for looks. The main thing is it's high enough and has enough wheel well for those tires.

We had an '88 Baby Bronco, before SUVs were all the rage, and it was one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Awesome on trips as we made a bed in the back. I am on my 2nd Ranger and never understood why they stopped making them. It's the perfect size for my needs and incredibly reliable. But I agree on the looks of the new one, not a big fan of fake hood scoops or the Ridgeline look.
