With some byes and injuries, I'm looking to pick up a RB for a flex spot. My options are Marlon Mack, Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood. Obviously the fact that all in a committee complicates things some. Mack is facing Buffalo this week. The Eagles have Carolina. I plan on playing whoever I pick up this week only but will probably have them stashed on my bench anyway because the wire is pretty thin anyway atm so if you want to include ROS advice, go ahead. I included both Philly backs because I'm not quite sure which one is the lead(ish) back. Smallwood outsnapped Clement last week but supposedly Clement was on a snap count and that could change going forward.

I'd say Mack if Sproles is back.

I might lean Mack anyway.

I'd be all in on Clement if the Eagles were.

I have feeling they will be soon. Maybe not true lead back all in, but leader of the pack all in

Mack seems like he has the clearest path to consistent touches.

even ajayi was only playing what 50% of the snaps
I don't know the snap counts, but meaningful rushing attempts, he dominated. Clement isn't quite the bruiser Ajayi can be, but he's more than good enough, and better in the pass game. But Smallwood/Sproles will always have a role in there too..no matter how good-great he is at everything else

I think both backfield are a nightmare - all those guys are game flow dependent. Never know who is gonna be the one. ... but I think Mack probably has the clearer path for now.

Mack for me. You know Buffalo isn't going to make that game lopsided so the running game will stay intact.

Everybody on this site needs to stop asking this Eagles RB question.

It's Corey fucking Clement every time.

sure wasnt today, and thats the point with philly.........there isnt just one

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. It's hard to tell what snaps/situations are gonna Smallwood or Clement or even Adams. They're all used about the same making them all fairly useless for FF purposes. At best its a TD dependent Flex play for Clement/Smallwood

Sometimes it's neither.

But I was surprised to see Adams in there at the goal line. Clement usually converts those. Adams despite his size, does not. Dude always ends up backwards.

Game script looked good for Corey until the disaster happened.
