Or how about this Philly trade:

Philly Trades:
Markelle Fultz
Dario Saric
Wilson Chandler (12M Expiring)
Kings 1st RD Pick (VERY high chance of being #1 overall)
Philly 1st RD Pick 2019
Philly 1st RD Pick 2021
Chicago 2019 2nd RD Pick
Dallas 2020 2nd RD Pick

for Anthony Davis

The Pelicans can essentially start over. They would have a back court of Fultz and Holiday, two combo guards. They'd have a starting PF and could let Mirotic walk. Chandler is an expiring which creates additional cap room. Then they have 4 picks, including what could be the #1 overall next year to start over. The year after Solomon Hill's terrible deal is off the table and they'll have a ton of cap space.

They'd have a core of Holiday, Fultz, Saric, Kings #1, 2 Philly 1st Picks, 2 high 2nd RD picks and a shit ton of cap space.

Boston owns Sacto's pick unless it hits at 1, so I am not sure about the very high odds. Supposed to be less than 20% for the worst record this year, right?

Philly going to regret that trade up to get Fultz for a very long time, IMO.

Celtics and Raptors pose real serious threats to the Warriors. I don't include the 76ers because they just don't have the experience yet to take it to that next level, IMO.

Celtics and Raptors both have teams with deep benches and have long athletic wings who can defend on the perimeter. This has traditionally given the Warriors a lot of problems.

Everyone says this season is a lock because of Boogie, but honestly it causes a few question marks as to what lineups will be out there at the end of games in crunch time. The last few years Draymond has been extremely effective at the center position. Andre Iguodala has been a lockdown defender and has allowed the Warriors to go small. The question will be what they do in certain situations. Do they play Boogie for more offensive firepower? Or do they go small and play Iguodala for more versatility and defense?

The last thing is that the Warriors bench is thin again this year. It'll be mix and match all year long as to who gets playing time and what lineups Kerr puts out. Last night he put out a lineup of Quinn Cook, Klay Thompson, Shaun Livingston, Jonas Jerebko and Jordan Bell. WTF.
The man of glass is already injured. He's way to fragile to be counted upon .

Ahhh yeah, that's right. Damn, looks like the 76ers are on the outside now. Celtics by far have the best option to trade for AD.

if JaVale McGee averages more than 12 pts and 9 rebonds a game ill charter a flight to LA to cut your lawn every week next summer

theres a better chance i hit a grand slam against Clayton Kershaw in the World Series next year for the Indians

Weak.

You are alread committed to a Mars trip if he averages 8. You can do better than mowing grass
In LA.

Interestingly though, for either team to have a realistic package, they pretty much have to wait until after the lottery. Because whoever owns that King's pick would have the inside track.

Because the 6ers aren't trading Simmons or Embiid and the Celtics aren't trading Tatum.

The King is gone and the throne in the East is vacant. Will Philly, Boston or Toronto step up to claim their stake? Meanwhile, in the West, the defending champs are hungrier than ever to three-peat and to cement themselves as the best team ever assembled.

Can anyone DETHRONE the Golden State Warriors?

My initial response was hell no.

But, I am willing to give the Celtics a puncher's chance if 2 of the following 3 things are true:

A) Jayson Tatum emerges as the C's best player on a daily basis (he sure was last night)
B) DaMarcus Cousins is not playing anywhere near the level he was pre-injury last year.
C) GS is missing 1 of their Hampton 5

The Rockets, Celtics and Raptors are the only teams with the depth as of now to have a chance.

Injuries will happen as well so anything can happen

Nope, I think they win the title again in 2019. I think they flirt with 75 wins this yr.

Long distance flirt, they won't crack 70.

Celtics aren't giving up Tatum for anybody.

They should for AD. And I love Tatum's game. AD is not even 25 yet and a top 5 player in the NBA. That's what you should hope for Tatum to be. With the window the Celtics have right now, you take that.
San Antonio wanted Tatum in any package deal for Leonard and Celtics said no. Kawhi when healthy is a Top 5, possibly Top 3 player. If they say no to Kawhi, who do they say yes to? LeBron?

Even less likely to give up a young stud like Tatum for old man LeBron... but I get your point.

There are a very few players in the NBA that are untouchable... right or wrong... Tatum is safely in that bubble.

I could theoretically see Boston packaging together just about whoever else, though... and whatever picks it would take...

... I doubt both sides would agree to a deal on this front, though... so all this is academic.

And I can find a helluva a lot more that said that the Warriors will have some very tough decisions to make in the near future.

A couple of have said that money isn't as important to some of them so they might be able to make it work.

Bottom line, you're trying to take credit for something that virtually no one disagrees with.
