What is weird is BTN is loving Iowa's TEs, Stanley, and their defense. I think they are saying with Iowa's defense and Iowa dominating their opponents, they think 12-1 Iowa could make CFP. Personally, I don't agree. They don't have a name, like Alabama.

Not a pile of shit. TT fool's gold. Tech is better, but some of that has to do with Okie Lite and TCU being much worse.

Tech is one of the teams that can't win a conference title but can certainly screw up a good team's chances of doing so.

I think it is pretty simple. I don’t see Texas going undefeated through the rest of the season, because they 4 games that are not locks. I can’t pick the loss, but someone is likely to get them

I will say, the S&P rankings don't really apply to this Texas team. This team is not great by any stretch, however against USC, TCU and OU (95% of the game, lull, then the last FG winning drive) they exerted their will, especially in second halves of USC and TCU games. The last drive of the Tulsa game is where they found out who they are: long drives, taking up the entire play clock by snapping at 5 seconds or less and sapping the energy from the opponent. Lot of it has to do with how Elingher plays, and he is definitely not a "metrics" kind of guy.

I'm just as unsure of the rusty cows as you guys. I'm not saying you guys are that good. I'm just not seeing your Big 12 brethren looking too hot this year. Okie Lite, TCU and K-State are underperforming as related to expectations. West Virginia may well end up that way too.

We'll see.

Y’all may beat us by 3 touchdowns ala 2014 style. That game November 3rd we’ll be the first Saturday we have played since early October. An I have no confidence in our offensive line.
