I like your photo better than mine

I wasn't gonna mention it, but you already honored your bet sir. You can change it, although I find it still hilarious. You manned up on the bet, so you got my respect there.

I hate the Warriors bench too, TBH. Really thin, especially at the Wing spots. I have no idea who's going to score on that second unit. Really just hoping for a healthy Boogie now.

But @WiggyRuss that trash can Looney had a 10 pts, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 18 minutes yesterday. Oh and he also held Paul George to a 24 second shot clock violation while guarding him on the perimeter. Still can't believe nobody gave him an offer. LOL NBA GM's.
To your point on Looney- he particularly excels at guarding guards on the perimeter. He isn't the greatest rim protector or rebounder but guarding that perimeter is his thing. I'm not sure why other teams haven't picked up on that given how many teams like to shoot 3's now days.

If he's able to keep up what he's doing at a 75% rate, he'll be a hot commodity this off-season I think. I could easily see a team offering him upwards of 7M plus per year. I understand teams might be hesitant to give him a deal after just one strong year, but still can't believe no one took a flier on him for like 2 years, 6M. That would have way exceeded GS offer.

If I am the Celtics I offer THE HOUSE for Anthony Davis at the trade deadline.

Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier, multiple multiple picks, etc...

Lol, NOBODY is getting AD in a trade. The only team that would stand a chance is if the Warriors offered most of their starting five.

Or how about this Philly trade:

Philly Trades:
Markelle Fultz
Dario Saric
Wilson Chandler (12M Expiring)
Kings 1st RD Pick (VERY high chance of being #1 overall)
Philly 1st RD Pick 2019
Philly 1st RD Pick 2021
Chicago 2019 2nd RD Pick
Dallas 2020 2nd RD Pick

for Anthony Davis

The Pelicans can essentially start over. They would have a back court of Fultz and Holiday, two combo guards. They'd have a starting PF and could let Mirotic walk. Chandler is an expiring which creates additional cap room. Then they have 4 picks, including what could be the #1 overall next year to start over. The year after Solomon Hill's terrible deal is off the table and they'll have a ton of cap space.

They'd have a core of Holiday, Fultz, Saric, Kings #1, 2 Philly 1st Picks, 2 high 2nd RD picks and a shit ton of cap space.

Pretty serious. You have to look at what offers would actually be out there for Davis. Then you have to factor two things: 1) Will you be able to trade significant assets and still be competitive and 2) Will Davis be willing to actually re-sign with the team.

I didn't say the the 76ers offer was better than what the Celtics could offer, just a different route. Pelicans could clear a ton of cap space to go free agent hunting and have a potential #1 pick in the draft, multiple other firsts and 2nds and a couple of young guys with upside in Fultz and Saric. If you don't see the appeal, then I can't help that.

To get AD you'd need to give up a minimum of two star players, along with a crap-ton of picks.

for "Shaqtin a Fool" clips?

That would be difficult; he has quite the epic Shaqtin history.

His best statistical stint (counting stats) was his 41 games in Washington during the 11/12 season, with 11.9 pts, 8.8 reb, and 2.5 blocks per game in 27.4 minutes. Is there any real reason he can't get those stats with Lebron, Rondo and Lonzo feeding him easy shots? It would require similar minutes most likely, but it's a reachable goal IMO.

So who fits as a trade partner? Give it a shot.

if JaVale McGee averages more than 12 pts and 9 rebonds a game ill charter a flight to LA to cut your lawn every week next summer

theres a better chance i hit a grand slam against Clayton Kershaw in the World Series next year for the Indians

Right now? Nobody. Literally nobody. Not a single team outside of Golden State has the assets that the Pelicans might even consider.

AD is not getting traded.

They should for AD. And I love Tatum's game. AD is not even 25 yet and a top 5 player in the NBA. That's what you should hope for Tatum to be. With the window the Celtics have right now, you take that.
