That is the question. 12 teams, start QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, flex (RB/WR/TE), blah blah... PPR with bonus points for 40+ yard TDs.

My skill pos players...

QB - Brees
RB - Conner, Bell, Collins, ADP, Ingram, Lynch
WR - Hill, Baldwin, Corey Davis, Crabby
TE - OJ Howard

I know I am weak at TE, but there's really nothing out there in the trade market. They guys that have will keep and the guys that will move someone will want too much. I figure I grab Brate on the ww and ride him for a couple weeks with Howard out. Also Vance McDonald is available, but are him and the Outlaw going to go back and forth with good games or is he going to take over a bit. After the stiff arm last week, he has become the crowd favorite, which means nothing.

I have been talking to a couple people about trading a RB for a WR. 3 teams, actually, and they all have multiple WRs they are willing to deal. Picks for next year may be traded. I have extra picks in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th already. Here are the guys that have been discussed and potential prices and all that. I guess I will group them by team

Team A - Also has Michael Thomas and Mike Williams. Is 0-3, on his way to 0-4, most likely. He has a very strong team and is not giving up. But he is missing his 1st round pick and would be willing to deal a WR to get it back. His RBs are David Johnson, Jay Ajayi and Derrick Henry.

ODB - He will want a 1st rounder in the deal. We have similar values on players.
Amari Cooper - Both of us were high on him in the offseason. Dude has a serious log jam at WR, though, and we can only start 3. I may be able to get him without including a pick. I could also dangle an IDP, since I wouldn't mind an extra roster spot with Carson Wentz on the ww.
Kenny Golladay - He is very high on him and doesn't want to deal him.
TY Hilton - Not sure how bad his injury was and the ???s about Luck. Probably better options available, but I may be able to get him without including a pick.

Team B - New owner. Kind of new to fantasy, definitely new to trading picks and such. My nephew, so I don't want to trade r*pe him, but I also am in a buyer's market, so I feel like I can offer less. His team is 1-2 and about to go to 1-3, barring a pretty big game from his punter tonight. His RBs are Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones, Crowell, Kerryon and TyMo. He has his full slate of draft picks.

Diggs - I don't think he wants to move him, but I had to ask.
Keenan Allen - Is actively shopping him. I think Ingram and a 3rd would get it done. Is that too much? If Ingram comes back and puts up RB 1/2 #s, I should probably just hold onto him and be good, right?
Cooper Kupp - Coming off a big game, but is the #3 WR in an offense with a serious threat at RB as well. I'm not even sure he improves my team all that much.

Team C - Shrewd negotiator. Will be 3-1 after this week, so picks aren't as important to him, but he is willing to take one to even out a deal. Also has Josh Gordon, who he is high on, which makes Adams expendable for him. May be willing to agree to a conditional deal, based on fantasy points.

Davonte Adams - My gut tells me he won't move for less than whichever of my backs are his favorite and a 2nd.
Juju - Is more open to dealing Adams than him. Would probably cost more than Adams.
Will Fuller - Same as above.
Keelan Cole - Not sure he improves my team a whole lot.

So, basically, should I stand pat and march forward or is it worth it to give up most likely, Mark Ingram and a pick for a solid, starting WR? I don't want to give up too much depth, but I feel like I can afford to trade a RB and I should probably do it while they all have a decent amount of value. Should I look at pushing maybe ADP or Lynch or Collins and sweeten the draft pick to save against Ingram blowing up or maybe Kamara getting hurt and Ingram becoming the featured back?

Kyle Rudolph? The guy who has him will probably not move him.

I was just offered Allen for Ingram and a 4th. I doubt I will be able to get Adams or Diggs for less.

Personally, I'd try to move Collins or ADP over Ingram. But if you really want another WR the offer's not bad. I'd certainly say Allen is the best value - if the asking prices of the others is as you suspect.

I like Allen and think it’s a fair enough trade, but in my eyes you don’t have a good enough RB Corp to move Ingram, even though I’m doubtful he puts up numbers close to last year. I’d be worried about the old ones running out of gas and Collins and Conners are just serviceable to me.
Your better off trying to package Lynch or AP or Collins with a WR or picks to upgrade to a better WR ( or RB, but doubt you would be able to). If that’s not possible then hold tight.

I'm starting to lean this way. I like the value and what my team looks like in theory, but I kind of want to see what I have in Ingram first. I've been holding onto him and wasting a bench spot and with Baldwin on board now, my WR situation isn't as dire as I thought. I told him I would sleep on it. I think I may just tell him we can revisit it next week after seeing how much they use Ingram. If he has a good game, I may be able to get the picked wiped out.

Do it.

Allen is the ultimate but low right now. Game flow for the Chargers has been weird and he has not been a focal point, but he will be.

Also, Ingram is not going to be player he has been the last foul couple years. Kamara might be the best back in the NFL. Ingram ain't getting 30%, let alone 50.

UPDATE!!!!

I've been talking to the OBJ owner a lot this year since we work together. Well before and after I posted this. We're pretty close to doing something. I started flirting with him about Golladay and he went right back to OBJ. He's been trying to get his 1st round pick back from me, especially now that he is 1-5. I'm 4-2. I've offered my 2nd and 3rd, along with ADP, who he is high on. He backed off his first and offered to take my 1st. I'm leaning towards offering a first (with a guarantee that I would get the earlier of the 2 1sts that I own) and ADP and trying to get a higher round back than I offered with my 2nd and 3rd (5th and 12th, I think was the offer, so I think his 4th would be fair).
