Alex Smith (Traditional Stats)- Alex Smith completed 21 of his 36 passes against the Panthers for a season-low 163 yards, which is lowest yardage total since Week 15 of the 2016 season when he also passed for 163 yards. You have to go back 29 games to find the last time Smith put up a lower total (127 yards in Week 8 of 2016). His 58.3% completion rate was a new season low and his pathetic YPA of 4.53 was his worst such average since 2013, his first year with the Chiefs. again this is what we traded for ?

Alex Smith (Advanced Stats)- Smith didn’t fare much better as far as the advanced stats were concerned, either. His passer rating (88.1), adjusted net yards per attempt (5.03), QBR (41.7) and PFF rating (60.9) all would have been new season lows if you excluded last week’s meltdown against the Saints.

He was especially bad when pressured. Smith completed just 4 of his 15 passes under pressure for 42 yards (39.6 passer rating). His 49.7 QB rating under pressure for the year ranks 30th out of 38 qualifying signal callers.

again he was supposed to be better then KC and look at this BS 2 back to back crap games

Again, just because somebody is critical of Smith and we don’t like him or think he move was close to wise, and we liked KC and think this FO fucked him and the whole situation up, and we think going FA over AS was much smarter, doesn’t mean we don’t like this Redskins. It means we are not homers and we are capable of thought.

Again Bruce Allen is a cockstick. I wish cousins was still here but he wasn’t signing here IMO.
That being said every fuckin thread here is about smith sucking and Cousins is some sort of a god. This board needs an enema. I’d rather Smith throw for 163 yards in a win than for 450 in a loss. I’m not a stat guy and only brought up kirks buffalo game to say it’s a week to week league.

I am fine with KC not being, believe it or not.

I would rather 163 and a win over 450 and a loss as well. Now let me ask you this...with a run game and a defense being equal, do you believe 163 would be a win and 450 would be a loss? Of course not. I would rather a top ten defense, a top ten run game, and a QB that throws for 450.

Again, our team would be better with Fuller, the third rounder we missed out on, and any of the following: McCArron, Fitzpatrick, Keenum, Taylor, and Bradford (maybe). AS has been extremely disappointing, and with all the love we heard in the preseason, his teammates are full of shit too.

Are you sure Fuller isn’t helping? I know the defense has been bad, but how much of that is from having large leads? Did you know Fuller has been lining up outside a good bit? Did you know the Chiefs run about 50% zone?

Look, Fuller was the best slot corner in football...#1 in 2017. I think we could use that third year rookie contract, best slot corner. Oh...here is some of the evidence from multiple sources:

You're kidding, right? Andy Reid has now praised him on multiple occasions saying that is the reason they have so much flexibility in their secondary. He called him an all pro in the making. Did he get burned for a TD last week? Sure. Show me one young CB who hasn't.
