Wetnz is 13-3 over his last 16. He seems fine to me as far as his injury. I'm betting he finished top 5 in the MVP voting this year too... Smith, no. But I see what youre saying.
Sure let's just cherry pick shit to make Wentz look better

How is that cherry picking? I just went back to his last season of games. Hes a superstar and will finish top 5 in the MVP race again and probably just about every year for the next decade.

Wrong. He's not a superstar and he hasn't won MVP. Nor will he win 10 in a row, like you claim.

I'm not debating whether Wentz is good , he is. Actually Dak is good as well. I'm simply saying Smith is more proven than both , healthier than Wentz, has better weapons than Dak, wins at a high rate and absolutely isnt going to beat himself.

He's just the safer bet RIGHT NOW

So those two years count but not the others? I think the point you are making is you will use the stats to fit your agenda
well he was a top draft pick , which means he went to one of the worst teams in the league. So of course he was gonna start his career with a horrible record.
Bottom line when he got replaced in SF he was having a career year. he didnt lose his job due to his play but due to a concussion. he is never gonna be a Dan Marino, but he has played well since his last couple years in SF. In the right systems he is a very good QB. I thought Wash. was gonna be tailor made for him. So far he is looking the part. & yes good coaching helps all QBs win. Before Harbaugh got to SF. that place was a hot mess in the coaching department.

Goff was a hot mess before they got a good coach.

Niners never fully committed to Smith til 2011. He has 1 full season of starting ( 2005 ) his first 7 years in the league and never started more than 11 after 05 until 09 and 10 ( and in those years he actually played ok ). In 11 they committed to him and the rest is history. It really is odd that people are so unwilling to admit he's good

Thats because he is unspectacular. But he is a very solid QB.
I was more worried about Smith going to the skins than the skins keeping Cousins.

I didn't say you did. I said he won't win TEN in a row, as you claimed.

Woops. Didn’t mean to write 20. I never said he would win 10 in a row either.

Yeah I was telling the Chiefs fans I thought this was a rare trade where both teams get better instantly. The chiefs are loaded with skill guys and needed a QB who was willing to take risks especially because their d is so bad they need to score which means you take chances . The skins have the perfect roster for Smith and their D is ok. Not great not bad but cousins just put them in bad spots far too often . Smith makes their d better just by not doing that . That alone adds a couple wins a year imo.

Every year counts but ( as stated ) if you need yo go back that far to make a case you've already lost imo. Smith is a funny case study . Guy puts up good numbers , wins and from all accounts is a good dude yet for whatever reason people refuse to believe he's good. If Washington wins the division we will all be deluged with posts about how they did so inspite of Smithvas opposed to because of him
You are the one that went back that far when you mentioned everywhere he goes:noidea:

Not me, I'd much rather face Smith over Cousins. I'm glad the Skins botched up the Cousins situation.

Well when people are "shocked " o might think he's quite good the only explanation is they're basing that belief off of 10+ years ago because since 09 he's been a solid to very good NFL QB

I'd say being Not Bad doesn't equal Very Good.
