Yes. Like bird dog puppies rolling around atop dead animal carcasses, every now and again inexplicable behavior transpires. The latest complete game is the indicator. Sparty should close the season strong.

Lest you think me some smugly satisfied fan with a team winning on cruise control, my alma mater's team finally played like a team for the first time since 2016. The Vols broke an historically bad 11-game conference losing streak. There's a glimmer of hope in Knoxville... And, Bama's coming to town.
We’ll see what Michigan State is this weekend. Problem is our running game sucks, 4 of the top 5 WRs are hurt, our OC is a nonfunctional idiot, we get roasted by dink and dunk passes, and then we get smoked by bombs, our kickers suck for both punts and field goals, our return men only know how to fair catch. About all we can do is stop the run.

I see a pattern of OC deficiency developing, here...
When no you consistently win 10+ games a year an no one wants any of your assistants, that should tell you a lot.

Nebraska brought home the prodigal son. The student athletes he inherited are sucking ass. It's him. Tar & feather him. Run him out on a rail...

OR, give him a few years to see if he can turn it around, thereby saving the University from paying out yet another contract of a fired coach.

Given my alma mater, I've some experience in this area. Don't "Tennessee" the situation. You're pretty damned close to having no one worthwhile wanting to work at Nebraska. Don't go there. Trust me on this.

linebackers, offensive line run blocking and apathy when playing lesser teams.
May want to add the secondary to this list, especially when we are playing at Purdue this weekend. That QB probably will have over 300 yds passing next weekend.

Simplify it

Coaching
Offense
Defense
Special teams

Where do I begin? Most glaring would be the offensive line, particularly run blocking. Special teams blows. The defense that was supposed to be so beastly with every starter returning outside of Vander Esch is severely injured and starting to leak oil. The coaching and play calling have been questionable at times. Another disappointing season and not even winning out can salvage it. And to be honest, not a snow ball's chance that's happening anyway.

Yeah, I'll say this summarizes it pretty well

Larry Flint could run a slant against our defense and pick up 18 yards. That Rondale Moore kid scares the shit out of me this weekend.

Still don’t know why yall didn’t continue running the ball.

Only Jim CHaney and Kirby Smart do. Might have still lost, but would have been a better game.

Today: Everything.

Just 3.
Offense, defense and special teams.

What he said

I would maybe also throw in coaching and the training staff. Plus, I think the radio play-by-play guy could do better. And the mascot was not his or her usual award-winning self this past weekend

I sense very bad things in store for your Buckeyes in late November...very, very bad...Michigan seems like a very different team from the one that played Notre Dame

Unless they're scoring 70 points, I don't know that michigan has the offensive firepower to blow us out. Plus, they have yet to face a QB even remotely close to Haskins, so it'll be something they haven't seen since last year when he diced them up. Their defense is definitely elite though, and we're gonna need Bosa back if we want to stop their running game.

I like Petersen but the fvcker gets paid millions to win games and you don't win games when you hire the retarded Stoops brother as your DC.
Fixed it for our resident land thieve brethren.

No, they probably wouldn't blow you out, Ohio State's too good for that...But Jimmah might finally get over that hump this season, and any loss to UM is a bad one, right?
