Another game where Lee was on the sideline and we didn't seem to miss too much in the middle of the field. Some has to do with the QB, but loving the fact that there isn't a night/day difference when Lee is on the field or sideline. Smith and LVE have allowed Lee to hopefully take his time to get fully well.

We are known to stick with the “hot hand”.

With Lee on the field I do not see those passes between the hash marks connecting as much as I do now. Lee brings a higher level of football knowledge/instincts that the others don't have "yet".

Vander is really growing on me. For a rookie he is playing good, and getting valuable experience.

Would be a shame once Lee is back if we don't find a way to play these 3 together and Wilson still starts. As good as our D has been, he just isn't doing that much and taking snaps from one of the other 3 just because we may not want to move one of them to the SAM would be problematic.

Lee may be hurt right now, but his dick ain't broke yet...he'll be out there when the time comes because he is still better than the others :thumb:

He is smarter than the others yes.
As far as better- I think that’s debatable, especially when we are talking about Smith.

I guess everything is debatable. Sean Lee is a clear step above the others to me (and to your beloved Romo based on his comment yesterday:suds:). Might that change in the next year or two? Absolutely and I expect it will.

I think what you are saying i's possible as the coaching staff is retarded at times. But if it were me Smith,Lee and LVE would see lots of time on the field at the same time and Wilson would be a backup.

Thought Romo was really good yesterday. He wasn’t as wound up as he usually is- maybe that’s because it was a blowout. He is usually hit or miss with Bortles. I thought he could have really gone after him yesterday but he didn’t. I was surprised he had so much praise for Linehans creativity. He is really good

It's actually the best case scenario involving Lee. This is the first time in years that the Cowboys don't have to have Lee on the field 100% of the time, even when he is banged up. Nothing wrong with quality depth. Once again, the Cowboys scouting department shows they are as good as there is in the NFL

Lee use to be better. Now I am not so sure.

These guys can make the wow plays for sure but they don't read and shoot the gap against the run or make the tackle as close to the LOS as Lee. Plus even with that amazing outing yesterday you could see the middle wasn't as tight as with Lee against both run and pass. And Jalen as great as he played the last 2 weeks lost the QB in the backfield a few times. I'm not putting these two down, I think they are playing great and their future is even better. But Lee is as good as any LB in the league. They just aren't quite there yet.:2cents:

I think for the rest of the season once Lee comes back, Dallas should do everything they can to get those three on the field at the same time. I think Lee should receive the least amount of playing time just to keep him healthy for any potential playoff run. If Dallas makes the playoffs then turn Lee lose.

What worries me is he can get hurt sneezing on the sideline. He just can't stay healthy and at this point I think it's fair to say he never will. Too bad. What could have been

Absolutely. He would be an all time great if he could stay on the field.

Certainly a great of this era. Of all time? I don't know if I am ready to put him there. I don't know that you could have ever called him the best LBer in the league in any given year, even when healthy.

Oh I know it. Injury prone as they come -- it's unfortunate. Keep the young guys in prominent roles and let them keep growing. When Lee is healthy, get what you can out of him, but give more rest than usual. Hope he is ready for a potential playoff appearance. Then I think the Cowboys have to move on after this year.

He has been a very good player for us. I never think of him being the best though
