I went to every home game the season UW went undefeated. When was the last time the ducks achieved that? Looks like 1895? :noidea:

Never ceases to amaze me how your fans act like their little streak was something more than what it was. You were known more for your gaudy uniforms than play on the field. Folding against Auburn and a 3rd string QB against Ohio State just wrecked whatever legacy you think you had.

UW has risen from the ashes and haven't yet made that next step, but they didn't buy their way to where they are. You? No paid player hunters or bags of cash. I'd take where we are and how we got here over whatever the hell the last decade was 1000% of the time.

Undefeated seasons are great and all. It must have been easier when you didn't have to play the best teams at the end of the season. Oregon also went undefeated in the regular season in 2010 but actually had to play the best team to end the year. It would have been nice to play Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and just pretend we were National Champs. But we didn't succeed in the "everyone gets a trophy" era.

Actually you didn't 'succeed' in any era did you? Unless just getting there is success, which I can understand for a program of your history.

Oh, and at the end of there undefeated season UW beat #4 Michigan 34-14 in the Rose Bowl. See, they not only played a top level team, they won theirs. You?
