Yes, that makes no sense at all. If the guy is active, he's active. Miller could have just as easily received his normal workload in that game, how the hell were you supposed to know how the coaches were going to use him? Also, in my opinion, nobody should ever be penalized for leaving a guy in on a bye or a guy that is inactive for the tight end, kicker, or defense spots in this league because with only 18 on the roster there are certainly times that it could happen. Last week when it was possible that Gronk was going to miss the Thursday night game, we weren't going to drop somebody to pick up a 4th freaking tight end on our roster. It really sucks when you have guys like Greg Olsen that you know are going to be out extended weeks, but since they aren't on IR you can't do anything with them except let them sit on your bench.
