Didn't get to watch this one. Seems like the Huskies were kinda underwhelming again, but it also sounds like UCLA played pretty well too. Regardless, this is Washington's first win in the Rose Bowl in quite a long time, so that's nice.

Some good, some bad. Really looked like both units were flat.

Jake threw a INT that was purely on him as a bad reaction to a rush (again), but otherwise he also made some pretty solid deep passes and had 49 rushing himself. It really wasn't an overall bad game, but it sure wasn't his best either.

The good news is we've seen this team play flat before and lose. At least they are strong enough to still win when on one of these. And they typically don't follow up performances like this with another. Think last year how they played vs UCLA after the loss to ASU, or '16 how they dominated ASU after the loss to USC.

They have a week now to get fired up, pin their ears back, and go take care of business.

We didn’t blow their doors off, but we got the W and that’s all that matters.

I’m sure Ducks fans are now gonna be crotch grabbing all week that they’re gonna murder us now based on this performance. Go for it if that makes you sleep better at night.

But something tells me the fact they haven’t faced a defense remotely as good as ours and will continue to crotch grab over Herberts mirage stats (what’s the rankings of the defenses you played so far this year?), etc, etc....

So this sets up to be a real fun one.

Won't be hard to point out their 'struggles' against a Stanford team AT HOME that just had their barn doors blown the fuck off by UTAH in their own stadium. :laugh:

We’ll be ready for this one. Team is as healthy as can be. Full strength heading down to Pewgene. The point spread will be interesting.

AP is out.

Gonna be #7 vs #17 which makes it one of the games of the week and love the start time. Can’t wait. Gonna be a fun week leading into this one.
