So you're saying you expect Sale to do this year what Kluber did last year.....Got it.

Exactly.

And you should be thankful instead of snarky, you spaghetti-bending douche. Thanks to Kluber's creaky back, your fag Yanks weren't swept out in the first round.

Was thinking last night how players can make a manager look so good or so bad

If Betances gets bombed in the 5th yesterday, Boone gets bashed today, instead he's god for a day

Or he pulls Andujar, one of the teams best hitters in a 2-0 game, Hecheverria makes a sick play, Genius

Such a fine line between genius or dipshit
Yeah, bringing in a guy that can lose the plate pretty easily in a situation like that can lead to a little ass puckering. I think I might have sharted a little while he was warming up

Considering I just finished a lunch of spaghetti and meatballs (I'm not kidding) I should probably bow out of this one

I don't see how you can definitively say that either of those teams are better than the Astros, let alone both.

The Yanks won 67.8% of their games with Judge playing. That would be the best winning % in all of baseball. Anything can happen in the postseason, but I don't think it's crazy to say when healthy these were the best two teams during the season.

You should reconsider that.

Astros' run differential was 15% better than the Red Sox and 31% better than the Yankees.

Was his back still hurting when they hammered him in July?

Agreed. Astros are the defending champs and led baseball in run differential by a comfortable margin. They are the team to beat.

Not still, but again.

Dude's back is a recurring issue that's recurring more often the past couple years.

He usually smacks your bitches around, hence his 2.51 career ERA against them.

And they were terrible without Altuve. I don't think there's any one player who's more important to their team than that guy.

Judge is pretty close

Well not having Judge for a 1/3 of the season was pretty significant. There's going to be significant drop off going from Judge to Neil Walker. Lol.

Wow. He must have had a really low ERA before that then, because they've ripped him a new one his last 3 starts.

How do you figure that?

BOS and NYY ranked 1st and 2nd in runs scored in MLB, and 3rd and 5th in team ERA.

More like amazing hitting and really, really good pitching against amazing hitting and really really good pitching.

Well, that's his career ERA, so the two abortions last postseason don't factor in.

He fucked them up last August.

When he faced them this July, he was on a six game stretch where he went 1-3 with a 6.23 ERA. Then he took some HGH and carried a 2.91 ERA for the rest of the season, so I wouldn't be too overly confident in the event the Yanks draw his number.
