Yeah, he broke his hand. Rams are deciding what to do with a return game
McVay said Peters is day to day and Talib may have to have surgery that could keep him out for a month and Natson had hand surgery but could be back for the Seatle game and Whitworth is fine.

Glad that the Peters injury isn't as bad as originally thought. I wouldn't risk playing him on Thursday and give him the extra days to make sure he's ready for the following game. Sucks about Talib but at least it happened early in the season instead of late into the season or even the playoffs. Hopefully the next man up can hold the fort down.

Yea, I agree that the injuries appeared to be more than what they have been diagnosed after the game going forward. Good news on Whitworth and Peters. They should hold Peters out unless absolutely necessary and just go with Hill and Shields who did a pretty good job in relief. Noteboom is ready to go if Whitworth gets into more trouble. Westbrooks is just plain done as his lower extremities injury history re-visits the man.

Overall, we are in pretty good shape. Typical John Clayton using hyperbole to describe the Rams situation. Little ESPN dweeb needs to shut his piehole for a second or two.

I believe we will come out of this game a winner because we are at home. Otherwise, this game has a good chance of being our first loss of the season. Stay tuned dudes and dudette!

Rams

Previous rank:
No. 1

Clearly the top team in pro football. Which means all those analysts and colleagues of mine who told me I was putting too much stock in Jared Goff's performance last year ... Well, I don't know what to tell you. His accuracy continues to impress. On Sunday, he darn near averaged 10 yards per throw -- an incredible rate. Meanwhile, the defense took Philip Rivers' best shots, ultimately producing stops when absolutely imperative. That was the difference in the game. There was also better red-zone efficiency and goal-to-goal performance from Los Angeles. Well, the home Los Angeles team. You know, the one that plays on the non-soccer pitch. Gosh, this L.A. football thing gets confusing.

The Rams are one of four teams undefeated. Miami (surprise), Tampa (hasn't played its Week three game yet), and Kansas City with a new strong-arm QB. Seattle won, the Cards and Whiners lost, and the Vikes got schooled by the Bills. Onward we go...
Up two games in our Division just three weeks in!

We die hard fans have been waiting for a team like this. Now when they get the ball we have a 75% chance of seeing a touchdown. When the defense makes a mistake the offense is their to bail them out when the offense falls short or turns the ball over the special teams has their back. This may be the most well rounded team the Rams have ever had.

Just in time for the playoffs, where Defense wins the game.
If he's out just the 8 weeks, I believe he'd be back right after our bye week or one game after our bye. That'll give him plenty of time to work off the rust in time for the playoffs. Just don't want to rush him back by any means.
Same goes with Peters. I'd rather him sit tomorrow night and be ready for the following game against Seattle.

Right now we are THE number one scoring offense in the league. We are 7 or 8 on points allowed. Man we are clipping along and I hope we go into Seattle and kick some serious sea bird ass!!
