Jim Furyk Picks Tony Finau to Round Out U.S. Ryder Cup Team | Golf Channel

Tiger, Phil, DeChambeau, and Tony Finau.

I like Finau, but thought Bradley might get the nod after pulling out his 1st win in several years.

Finau gives Jim Furyk a big bomber off the tee...seems to be a fairly likeable young guy, probably pairs well with anybody...excited to be on the team.

I'm expecting Tiger to be paired with DeChambeau at least once or twice.

Not sure Phil deserved it for anything other than it being his last chance.

Well...Finau is fresh and playing well, but idk if I'm glad...Bradley does have some international experience and seems to have figured out the long putter.

I’ve started tucking my elbows in like KB.
It has helped me a lot lately. Funny that I am using a technique that is being used by a guy that has been viewed by many as a bad putter.

I think KB is about to sky rocket up the rankings again.

We shall see...I like Finau's game a little better, but I like that Bradley has had some experience on this stage before.

Watching the TOUR this weekend, hope Phil is a cheerleader, not a participant.

Was wondering if Tiger and DeChambeau might get paired up. Not sure... Tiger said “he didn’t shut up” when they played but DeChambeau shot what 64 and 63 or something those days.

Experience. Team is young and he’s a vet they need around. He may not play but once during the 2man teams but will obviously suit up for singles

That being the case perhaps they should pair DeChambeau with Spieth & mic them up. It would be very entertaining if nothing else.

Not so sure you want to break up Spieth and Reed. I’ve heard DeChambeau is kind of a douche and I don’t know if he and Jordan get along.

That said I’m putting him with Tiger. If he keeps shooting 63s/64s while playing with Tiger then that’s good

It doesn't matter who they pick. The U.S. team will likely fold like a K-Mart lawn chair.

Cracks me up that Furyk's picks were oh and 10 if you discount Finau. Furyk did a horrible job of captaining this year,

Douchambeau looked to be the best on the planet a few weeks ago, then completely lost his game. Tough to argue with his picks except for Phil is is old and shitty.

And the fact that Woods can't play with anybody. Lost all three of his pairings again. I think his record is something like 9 and 19 when paired with someone.

its crazy how bad he is with a partner. He didn't play that well this weekend overall, so maybe should have stuck him with Phil again for a single disastrous pairing.

I hear that Speith, that whiney little bitch, wouldn't play with Reed and Furyk allowed him to get away with it even though if jacked up some other expected pairings

explanation makes sense. The only way that pairing doesn't happen is if one of the parties wants out.
