We have a very real possibility of seeing a tie for

1. The Central
2. The West
And
3. WC2

That would mean
1. Cubs vs Brewers for the Central AND home field throughout
2. Rockies vs Dodgers for the West with the loser playing STL for the WC2
3. Loser of Cubs - Brewers having to wait just to see who they get in the WC and the Braves twiddling their thumbs waiting too

Also this would push back the playoffs by at least 2 days to sort it all out

Cubs vs Dodgers WC Game.

Thats my prediction.

Rockies and Brewers play teams that have packed it in while the Cubs will be playing their rivals who is fighting for their lives....and the Dodgers will be playing @SF who would love nothing more than to cost their rival the division.

But the Best case for the Braves would be for the Dodgers to miss the playoffs(possible) and the Cardinals to knock off the Cubs in the WC game(possible). I think we would have a legit shot at a WS then.

I don't see this happening at all.

Dodgers winning 3 of 4 and Brewers winning 2 straight against the Cardinals pushed the Cards out of the playoffs unless the Rockies choke or the Cubs massively choke. I think the Cubs literally have to lose 5 straight and the Cardinals have to win 4 straight if I'm looking at this right.

I think there is about a 90% chance the Cardinals are done. They stuck with Matheny too long to make the playoffs but they're probably also a couple players short from competing for a WS anyways (hence the Dodgers and Brewers playing better lately)

That seems really high considering that the Rockies don't play anybody competing for a playoff spot.
