Still hopeful for Ragnow, but not a great start....

Starting Lineup:

Left Tackle: Taylor Decker, 66.4
Left Guard: Frank Ragnow, 43.1
Center: Graham Glasgow, 64.0
Right Guard: T.J. Lang, 63.6
Right Tackle: Rick Wagner, 77.9

There was so much potential for the Lions’ offensive line heading into the season, but through two weeks, they haven’t come close to realizing it. Rookie Frank Ragnow was once again beaten like a drum in pass-protection. He allowed a sack, two hits and four hurries against the 49ers. It wasn’t just the volume, either. It was also the speed at which they pushed past Ragnow, as multiple times he barely laid a finger on opposing linemen.

I dont think Lang and Glasgow have ever pulled their weight either. I would move Ragnow to Center and make Glasgow a backup and replace both G positions.

Went through the rankings in your link. Ragnow has the lowest rating of any guard in the league. And only two other lineman overall (RT Bobby Hart-CIN at 42.2 and C Ryan Groy-BUF at 39.9) have a lower rating.

Quin is giving Millen a run for his money.

This was as bad a pick as Fat Mike Williams.

Not willing to throw in the towel on Ragnow, he's still a rookie. I'm more disappointed in the rest of line. Lang has been a waste of $ and Wagner isn't much behind.

Wagner has been decent. The rest have been forgetable.

Although I saw Reilly Reif give up 2 strip sacks that ended in fumbles and 10 points for the Bills. Remember when he used to do that for us? Good times.

Lol.

Did Reif start at both Tackle positions in the game you watched?

Cuz those strip sacks were one a piece from Hughes and Murphy. Who start at Left and Right Defensive end, respectively.

Ebron pick was up there for me.

The fact that Lewan, OBJ and Aaron Donald went right after him.

What my graphic does not even show is that he was near perfect in Pass blocking. He had a penalty run blocking on 1 play that probably lowered his score.

The ends switched sides.

Anywho he just gave up another this week to lose the game. Remember when that used to be us (and in the playoffs too)? Good times...

Decker, Wagner and Lang were all more disappointing that Ragnow this week. Lang hasn't been able to stay on the field much since we signed him.

Agreed. Lang needs to go. Dude has hardly played any games. Wagner was a horror show. He was decent up till this game. Decker seems to get 1 penalty per game and was shaky as well. Even Glasgow got pushed around.
