What do you think about the modifications to some rules the NBA has made? I call them modifications because I think thats what they are more so than actual changes.

Wade making the obvious known. The man that made him into the NBA player he became pushed him over the top about returning for one more season.

Of course, a little extra $ is a motivating factor for Wade

Pretty sure there will be one especially for him. No doubt in my mind he doesn't return if this wasn't agreed upon.

I think it would be more about less practices for him once the season start.

Can't see them resting him much considering it his last season. I have to think he will do his best to play in every road game.

Waiters is such a bitch

Add James Johnson to this apparently with an injury of his own. But he was already a bitch before that.

The last 5+years it always seem like the Heat are down multiple starters/key players to start the season.

But I dislike it when its a situation like Waiters - and way back when with McRoberts that these things become a problem and linger because of the fact that they seemed to hold off on surgery for longer than they should've.

Anyhow, through social media, etc -- Since having the surgery I think we've all seen Waiters rehabbing and working on trying to get back as best as possible. So I don't think he is THAT much of a bitch?

We have to remember the Heat are very cautious when it comes to their injured players - this could also be a case of them simply holding him back until they decide he is fit to play.

My reason for calling him a bitch is because he wasn't available for comment today. He is actually right on schedule with his timetable. Had surgery in December and was told he would be out 8-10 months. October would be the 10th month so I'm ok if he is out until early November. Now if he's out until December then i have a problem with it

Seems to be a theme around the league of late for guys that are injured or the subject of trade rumors for teams to be holding them out of making comments to the media. Its not even pre-season yet -- who cares if they talk to the media at this point? Media is going to write nonsense and speculate no matter what.

Jimmy Butler list the Heat as a desired trade destination. What say you about this?

Seems like the Heat would have to give up a lot in order to get Butler.

Combination of Goran, Richardson and Winslow seems to be the mix I am reading about the most. If that is the case -- don't do it.

If it were possible just for Richardson and/or James Johnson, the Heat shouldn't hesitate.

Now Dion Waiters the subject of trade rumors. Maybe the Heat should've done more than prioritize bringing back beyond old veterans, and maybe they wouldn't be all these distractions this close to the preseason/season starting.
