what a hideous display. seriously, who the fuck thinks anything good will out of putting brett levis in the line up? at the bare minimum/best case scenario, he'll cost you a sub when he goes down with an injury; more likely, he'll miss an assignment/give the ball away which leads to a goal. the guys like 22 with the body of a 48 year old. i don't want to single him out because there's a ton of other issues, but FFS, how can anyone not see he's not a big league player?

yes, i realize that the options were more limited tonight, but, robbo still puts him out there with a full compliment of players.

The Whitecaps have five games remaining in the Major League Soccer season and sit in eighth in the Western Conference table. They are four points adrift of Seattle Sounder's for the final playoff spot in the conference.

Dos santos has much varied experience and from all reports has been a real team builder everywhere hes been. Hes gotten to finals almost everywhere hes been and he seems to develop youth. All robbo did was pass on caps residency kids every year. And please, no one try selling me that he was instrumental in developing alphonso

thing that scares me is the bombshell that dos santos is represented by the same agency robbo was :jaw:

I doubt he will have the same global “talent” pipeline robbo had though. I dont think the “executive” will let him lean on the agency that way

I can't say I know much about him, but it sounds like a fine addition to the men's national team...

One of this country’s brightest young soccer prospects has decided to pledge his international career to Canada.

In a series of posts on its official Twitter account, Canada Soccer confirmed Tuesday that Ballou Tabla will play for the men’s team in its Concacaf Nations League qualifying match against Dominica on Oct. 16 in Toronto, effectively tying him to the Canadian program for good.

Born in Ivory Coast, Tabla, still only 19, moved to Canada as a child and grew up in Montreal. He previously played for Canada at the under-17 and under-20 levels, and was named the Canadian U-17 and U-20 Male Player of the Year in 2014 and 2016.

I can't decide whether I like Cat Ballou or Hulla Ballou better (or neither...lol). Hullaballou Tabla sounds too much like a punk band from Bangladesh.

At any rate, I can't wait to see how the team looks with Davies and Ballou out of the wings on the 16th of October. :nod:
