No slow start this game. Was very nice to see. It was a solid performance at all three parts of the game. Offensive line was awesome. Only gave up 2 sacks. Great to see. Run game was established. Also great to see.

It was nice to get the win. I thought the line played much better - though I am not all that thrilled with less than 3 yards per carry that everyone else seems to be happy about. The run game was pretty inconsistent - the Hawks just never got away from it like they have in the past.

The defense played really well overall - and I'm not as concerned with the big runs from Elliot - since they happened when the defense were in pass mode, and the forced fumble. Hopefully, the defense is only going to get better moving forward.

Wilson played so much better than he has been. It was great to see him look like a confident and decisive most of the game. There is a thing or two I hope he cleans up - but at least he was playing so much better today.

Great win, but I really wish we would have gone after Josh Gordon. With Doug out its really noticeable that we lack a true playmaker at WR.

Yah Gordon would've been nice. But Seattle has legalized weed. He'd have been suspended within hours.

Trends to be happy about:

1. O line didn't set the world on fire, but kept a good Dallas front in check. Allowed a 100 yd rusher against same.
2. D line didn't get a ton of sacks but DID get pressure a bunch.
3. Young DB's seem to be settling in.
4. Russ got the ball out quickly.

Very pleased with how the team played yesterday. I don't think Dallas is very good, but they took care of a beatable team at home and you can't ask for more than that. I'm still not overly optimistic on what I'm seeing for the most part on offense, but I'm willing to eat some crow on this defense. They're still pretty good (a healthy Wagner helps a ton) and they've got some young guys who are stepping up. Griffin is turning into a really good corner and I see a lot of good from Flowers too. The D-line could stand to improve a little, but that's just nitpicking at this point.

Good win with a very winnable game on the road next week. Still not expecting playoffs, but getting to 2-2 would be huge after starting the season with 3/4 on the road.

I agree there are still many improvements to be made. On the offense, they clearly got conservative in the 2nd half when it turned into a game of trying to burn clock and not take risks. They put up 17 in the 2nd quarter to take control of the game, and they also looked explosive at times and were able to continue to run the ball throughout all 4 quarters. Still without Doug Baldwin and have missed at least 1 OL starter in all 3 games so far, but the protection was definitely better this game.

It was a long weekend for me. I went to -- ironically enough -- Dallas on Thurs, got back late Sat night to drive 40 miles home from SeaTac just to get up early to drive 50 miles back north for the game. I was smoked last night.

Anyway, it was an expectedly (at least by me) much better performance. I was not surprised at all that our pass protection and offense in general looked a lot better at home and when not having to deal with the likes of Miller or Mack. They let off the gas a bit in the 2nd half when the game situation dictated a more conservative approach, but they were able to put up 17 in the 2nd qtr and took control of the game. Russell usually had time, and he was careful & accurate.

The defense, in my view, is shaping up to be quite a bit better than it was getting credit for before the season. Kendricks has been a good find, and the secondary is forcing lots of turnovers. Bradley McDougald has proven to be a great re-signing in the early going. The run D buckled a bit late yesterday, but it was in the part of the game where the scoreboard probably dictated more passing to get Dallas back in it. They weren't moving the chains on the ground when it was a close game. It will be nice to get KJ back at some point soon. Jarran Reed had a great game.

Pretty bad day for Dickson. His kicks seemed low and short, as compared to what we had been seeing from him. I wonder if he was just experimenting after getting a couple big returns on the longer kicks?

To follow up this with a good performance on the road would be nice to see. Arizona may be a bottom 3 or 4 team.

Those were bad drops. He kind of had that knock coming in, but you definitely want to see him catch those passes that are thrown nearly perfectly.

so dallas could have blow coverage? well worth the 10 mil imo

Not really a huge contract for a #2 WR on a roster... He's ranked at #24 among WR's salary this year and that's based off of a brand new contract... In a year or two, he'll be paid in the Top #30-#40 range...

We actually had a rushing TD from a Running Back... Imagine that...
Yep, it was quite a thing to see! It was my near word for word exclamation from the stands, "Holy *&^$ a TD from a RB!!!"

I'm just happy to see improvement. Being at home is big.
Baby steps with this team.
Next, hopefully a divisional road win. A well played game would boost confidence.
Then, it's the Rams here.

He really only had 2 poor punts. His last punt for 39 yards and his 4th punt for 40 yards.

Here were his punts

34 for 15 no return
38 to 7 no return
40 to 20 no return
61 to 20 21 yard return
40 to 29 no return
45 to 36 7 yard return
48 to 21 -1 yard return
39 to 44 12 yard return

That last punt was not good. But otherwise pretty solid punting.
